Christy Warren is a retired Fire Captain from the Berkeley (California) Fire Department. She has twenty-five years of service as a professional paramedic, with seventeen years as a professional firefighter. She was diagnosed with PTSD in 2014 and spent several years recovering. Since retiring from the fire service, she has completed a triathlon, the Escape From Alcatraz swim, and a bachelor’s degree in business from Washington State University. She is a volunteer at the West Coast Post Trauma Retreat and works as a substitute teacher at Juvenile Hall in Martinez. She lives in Pleasant Hill, California with her wife Lisa and her dog Harriet.

An interview with Eric Carter-Landin, Host of True Consequences.
True Consequences - True Crime Podcast was created by Eric Carter-Landin, the host and Executive Producer. Eric was born in Socorro, New Mexico, and currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eric holds an MBA from Western New Mexico University.
True Consequences - True Crime Podcast was born out of a desire to honor Eric’s baby brother and to help others in New Mexico in their fight for justice.
Eric’s brother, Jacob Landin was killed in 1987 and to this day his killer has never been charged or prosecuted. The case is currently reopened and being investigated by the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office.
True Consequences is not your typical true crime podcast it is an empathetic look at true crime. Eric understands what it’s like to fight for justice for a loved one and it’s his hope that you will be compelled to share these cases.
