Coffee beans are the second most traded commodity in the world, after oil of course. They keep a lot of us going and it has a history that is intertwined with exploitation, but also with the ideas of the Enlightenment. Some drink it standing, others keep refilling.

You can have any colour you want as long as it’s black, once Ford said, but there are more than 50 shades of black nowadays. Which one is yours? Or would you rather drink a latte?
