This exhibition is the largest dedicated exhibition of works by JD Fergusson to date and It will also include works by his contemporaries Andre Derain, SJ Peploe and Henri Matisse.

Spanning Fergusson’s long and productive career, this exhibition features more than forty of his works. These include paintings, drawings, and watercolours from the archival collection of artwork and personal material belonging to JD Fergusson.

In a story told through letters from the Blair Castle archive, somebody had claimed Lady Katherine's husband had drunk from the skull of Bonnie Dundee!
