Identifying potential issues is one of the most important aspects of developing a backup plan. Examine your Plan A objectively. What are the flaws or potential problems you might face? Are there any flaws in the people involved in your strategy?
There are times in life when having a backup serves as both peace of mind and a tool for continued success. π―ππΌ

Stop Standing Still & Start Standing Out with Jesse Cole
A few years back, I had the honor of sitting down with Jesse Cole also known as the Yellow Tux guy, owner of the Savannah Georgia Baseball Team known as The Savannah Bananas, author of the book "Find Your Yellow Tux" and host of the Business Done Differently podcast.
We talked about the best way to skyrocket your businessβ success, ways to make your story worth sharing, many different ways to enhance your client experience, and how to maintain relevancy to create ranting raving fans who keep coming back for more!
Jesse has explosive positivity and excitement and is also humble and grateful. This was an incredibly valuable and impactful conversation for me - I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did.
One of my favorite quotes from Jesse in our conversation is βBe patient in what you want for yourself, but be impatient in how much you give to others.β

Which one do you burn?
Good Morning and Welcome to Radiate Positivity!
Today I wanted to share with you a concept of burn ships, not bridges. And so what do you need to know about this one? Well, we need to know what the difference between a bridge and a ship is. So a bridge is the relationships, the opportunities, the different things that we have currently. Maybe it's a past employer, maybe it's a current employer. Maybe it's a current opportunity. Maybe it's a past opportunity. Ships are the things that got us there, you know, so, you know, how did we get to this current opportunity? How did we get to this current employer or this current, whatever it may be. And so we want to burn those ships and we want to build these bridges can keep these bridges. So why is this important? So it's important because if we burn our ships, so we get to an opportunity, we burn the ships, it means we're going all in or going all in on the, on this opportunity with this current job, with this current position, whatever it may be, we're going all in.
We're not looking back saying, Oh, I could always go back to that. We're just looking forward saying, there's no way out we're going to make this happen. I'm going to leave all on the table here. And, and there's no more ships. There's no way that I can get back to where I was. And then the bridge is part you know, people, I think we've all heard of this, you know, people burning bridges leaving on bad terms having arguments with, with, with people, with relationships, with friends and you're never really being able to reconcile those. And so I'm just wanting to encourage you to look at burning your ships. So you're going in on all of your current opportunities or the current opportunity and, you know, not burning your bridges or continuing to build your bridge actually as opposed to burn those bridges.
So just wanted to encourage you to look at that concept in your life. How can that apply to you? How can that be valuable to you in your life? If you were to burn your ships, go all in on your opportunities and doubled down on the bridges, as opposed to burning your bridges and going back on your ship way you know, maybe back to your past or back to something that didn't work. So I just wanted to encourage you to look at that in your life, go out and radiate positivity, have an awesome day, and we'll talk soon.
What if there isn't a finish line?
Good Morning and Welcome to Radiate Positivity.
Today I wanted to share with you a phrase or a concept that I heard from Matthew McConaughey when he was talking to Gary Vaynerchuk. And they brought up this concept that, you know, there is no true finish line, you know, if you think about it you think about all of these wealthy people or you think about all of these successful people. Well, they've never really ever made it. They're still growing. They're still expanding. They've never stopped. They've never made it to a finish line. They've just continued to grow and expand. And regardless of where you're at on that chart or on that journey to you know, one of the aha moments that I had was is that, yeah, there's truly no finish line. It's just going to be a continuous process, you know, until, you know, I'm gone. And so what, you know,
Why is this important? Well, there are so many reasons
Reasons, but what we can recognize is is that we need to enjoy the process. We need to figure out something that we love the process of, because there's truly never going to be that finish line. And so if we can find something that we love the process of, well, then that can ultimately be the finish line and you already have achieved it. And then you just continue to love the process or continue to love the journey. So what do you need to do? What do we need to do? Well, we need to recognize that there probably isn't a finish line unless you've defined one that makes sense to you. But there's probably not a finish line out there. It's, it's, you know, you're not really ever going to get everything you would ever want to get done done. But what we can do is we can find something that we love the process of, and we can truly dive deep and lean into that.
And, and just continue to do that and recognize that there's no finish line recognize that we love the process. And so why is this important? Why do we need to do this? Well, you know, if you're finding yourself being frustrated or confused or angry that you can't reach the finish line, well, maybe you're just focusing on the wrong thing. Maybe you're not focusing on what can I control in the process? What can I love in this process? Instead of looking out at that finish line, wondering when am I going to get to the finish line? What if the question is, is how can I enjoy the process that I'm going through right now? And so I just wanted to encourage you to look at that in your life. How can that be valuable? How can that apply to you or someone else in your life? So go out and radiate positivity, have an awesome day, and we'll talk soon.
What do you do with new learnings?
Good Morning and Welcome to Radiate Positivity.Β
Today I want to talk through with you a concept that I learned a while back, and it's this concept of being a river flowing of information instead of a stagnant pond. Not really giving out information, just hoarding it all to yourself. And so what do you need to know about this? So what do you need to know about this? So there's two different ways of thinking about when we get information. So one, we can hold it, we don't have to share it. We can basically just keep it for ourselves and then move on or two, we can be a river and we can flow that information out to others, which ultimately can help us crystallize and help us get better. So why do you need to know this? So this is important for many reasons, but you know, if you're one that inspires to grow or to help others grow while in being a stagnant pond is the exact opposite way that you need to do that and being a river as you get information in, it flows through you out into someone else colleagues, friends, family, anything like that to help them get better.
And so that's one of the key reasons why you know, why this is important. And so what you need to do to do this is basically have a system. So maybe it's when I learned about these specific things or when I learned something that makes me go, Oh my goodness, that is game-changing or that's an aha that created an aha for me. Well, having a system in place to then say, okay, that's what I learned. Here's how I'm going to share it can be very, very important. And so one way to just help you remember, this is two ways we go back to it, stagnant pond river. Why is it important? Well for stagnant pond, we don't share anything. We hold it all to ourselves and we go on about life. If we're river, we can share what we've learned, help crystallize it for us, but then also give it to others so that they can help grow or that we can help them grow as well. And so I just wanted to encourage you to look at that concept of the stagnant pond versus the river of flowing information. How can that affect you in your life? How can it affect the other people around you? And I just wanted to encourage you to look at that in your life. So go out and radiate positivity, have an awesome day and we'll talk soon.
Don't forget to look at the glass this way too...
Good Morning and Welcome to Radiate Positivity! So today I wanted to share with you another concept from that conversation between Matthew McConaughey and Gary V. Matthew is talking about his perspective on the glass you know, half empty, half full. Well, one thing that he said was is that, you know, there's this positivity, this toxic positivity out there that says, well, I'm not gonna look at that glass.
If it's half to half-empty, I'm not even gonna subscribe to that. I'm not, I'm just going to deny that it could be half empty, just going to look at it as half full and that's toxic. So an authentic positivity perspective is recognizing that there's a glass that it's half empty or half full, but then the power comes in after you've recognized. That is then where's your perspective? What perspective, what outlook do you take after you've seen the good you've seen the, the not so good or the bad, or you've seen both perspectives, regardless if they're good or bad, what perspective do you intentionally choose to subscribe to?
And I love this because why, you know, why is this important? Well, it allows us to recognize that there are two sides to a story, and there's a lot of stories that we can hear two sides to, but it allows us to be educated on both sides, aware on both sides and allows us to make an educated decision and intentional decision of what outlook we truly want to subscribe to. I'd like to add a third part to this, and I've always loved the idea of just being thankful for the glass. So regardless if it's half-full, regardless if it's half-empty, regardless of whatever's in there, be thankful for the glass and then take the next step and figure out, okay, we know that it could be half empty.
We know that it could be half full. I'm going to take that awareness. And I'm going to choose my outlook on how I'm going to you know, view the world, view the situation. If you challenge view everything that comes up, I'm going to take this outlook because I've at least I'm at least thankful for the glass and I've seen both sides. And I choose this for me. I choose the glass half full, but I always recognize that there's a glass and that it could be half empty. So I just wanted to encourage you to look at that in your life, go out and radiate positivity, have an awesome day, and we'll talk soon.

How to get out of living a miserable life.
π Here is the wrap up for this week: How would my best self approach this situation?
π Example: You need to have a tough conversation with your spouse that you feel like you have had many times, but you don't take the time to think through how your best self would handle it. This can cause you to regress back in a negative way into a rut of how the conversation always goes and you don't end up being your best self in that conversation.
β Possibility: Recognizing there is power in the intentionality behind this can propel you forward faster.
π Example: Realizing that there is the ability to take some time before the conversation to think through how you would like to act during the conversation, what it would look like, how you can listen, how you want your tone to come across, etc.
β‘οΈ The Path: A simple challenge to get you to your best self faster.
π Example: Block off some time early in the day to sit down and write out how your best self would approach the conversation and actually use that during the conversation. It might seem weird, but it can be powerful.
