Daily Encouragement With Mrs O

As we go into this new week we must remind ourselves to trust God. We must be still in him. I am reminded of when Daniel was thrown in the lion den and how God protected him or how Shadrach Meshach and Abednego where thrown in the furnace but God was right there with them.

God is forever with us so in our challenging time lift your voice to him and ask for his peace to reign and rule so even as that storm is raging you are operating in complete peace because you know that the lord is always in control. Never lose hope.

Be encouraged

These are indeed interesting time but in our most challenging times, In the times where all we want is peace we are reminded that it can only be found in the presence of the Lord. Many times we come to God with Joy and gladness because something great has happened to us but what about it those challenging seasons. Do we praise him less? What should our constant response be? It should be to praise him in all seasons. So this week lift your voice and shout in the good and the seemingly not so good. Raise your voice in praise. Be encouraged

Today we are reminded that God is our champion and even when it seems things we are facing are bigger than us we know that when we call on him he is there to help us. The lord is our very pleasant help in time of need

In today episode we are reminded that in this journey of faith and knowing God we must not be complacent. We must ensure that we are leveling up with God. Day after day we must seek to grow in him. As we do that it will allow us to enter that secret place. Its that place where its just us and God. Its that place where our relationship with him deepens and we begin to know more about what his will and purpose for our lives. Its that place where we can gain foresight because he is revealing so many things to us so we are not taken unaware. We are prepared just like the wise virgins who ensured they had extra oil in their lamp as they waited for the bridegroom. Its that place of growth.

It means that when challenges are around us we are not moved but we are assured that as long as we are with God he is in control. It means our minds and our hearts trust and know that God is with us. He is hiding us in that secret place.

It reminds me of when Moses told pharaoh that the first born of every household will die but as long as you have marked your door nothing will come near you. Those who listened and acted as the lord had instructed where saved and those who didn't werent. You need to enter that secret place to be able to truly hear what the lord is saying at this time.

In the secret place we are listening more, praying more and trusting God more.

Right now there is so much going on in the world and many don't know if you should go left or right and that is because the only one that can direct us is the lord. That level of knowledge is gained in that secret place.

We need to level up and enter that secret place for in there is safety, wisdom and knowledge and truth.

In this episode we are reminded to dwell in the lord and abide in him. We must take time out to dwell with him. Its that quiet time where its just you and God building your relationship with him. Its those quiet times that we truly hear him speak to us. Dwell in the lord today. Be encouraged

Today I am reminded of an old song that say my confidence is in the lord the source of my salvation. Rest is found in him alone the author of creation and I think that may be my anthem for this new day. My confidence is and should always come from the lord.

As you reflect on God today I encourage you to never lose hope but remain confident that our creator and author of our lives will work all things out for our good. We may not see it but he is working. Put your confidence in him. I can guarantee you the peace you will feel with propel you to a new level of faith in him.

Today we are reminded that as we go into this new month, we need to know that in every battle we face we need to declare to ourselves and say "My CONFIDENCE is in the lord so I WILL NOT FEAR. I will put my TRUST in him who has never forsaken me".

Stand on his word which says in Joshua 1:9 AMP
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

And as Jeremiah 29:11 AMP says
"For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord , ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope"

Now declare...I am an OVERCOMER and NO weapon fashioned against meshall prosper.

Today we are reminded to draw from that well that never runs dry. Draw from the Lord and reallly seek him in all you are doing. Let him lead you. Let him guide you. Surrender yourself to him. Its hard sometimes we want to take things into our own hands but the lord is calling us to surrender to him and just commune with him and let him take control of every aspect of our lives. So today remember to draw from that well. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. Remember God is making a river in the desert.

Today we ask ourselves where are we in our faith walk. How do we trust God when we lack faith especially in our most challenging times.
We forget that Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things NOT SEEN.
That means even though we can't see what God is doing and we are in that wilderness with sooo much uncertainty all around it means that our absolute certainty comes from knowing that our Faith in God is carrying us through. We are in that passenger seat and God is the real driver even though we may not be able to see him or understand the route he is taking us on.
We must believe the covenant God has made with us when we commune with him in our quiet time.
God is making a way for us even when we can't see it. All we can do is commit ourselves to him and his leading and trust that he won't forsake or leave us and HE WONT. The reality is God never leaves us but we leave him especially when WE are lacking in faith.
Finally the key thing in all of this is to stay grounded in his word as its our foundation and it provides direction even in the most challenging times.

In this episode we are reminded and encouraged that God is our light and salvation. He is our refuge, we need not fear but trust God.

In today's episode we reflect on the importance of taking refuge in God. Many times our journey with God involves us running back to him when we realise we can't do things on our own. Which is what the prodigal son did. He ran back to his father when he realised he couldn't do it on his own. However the turning back is not the end of the lesson but rather the beginning. Its at this point that you really start that journey of growth with God because now you are walking with him and not on your own accord. Its at that point you realise that you rather be with him than by yourself in the storm because you know that irrespective of how bad things may be you know that God has still got you and will never leave nor forsake you or give more than you can bare. You know that in the refuge of God there is safety and protection and I dont know about you but that is where I would encourage everyone to be.

In today's episode we reflect on being recognised by God and for him to be pleased in us. It is one thing to trust him but its important for him to recognise you and say this is my child in whom I am well pleased. I want my way to please him and to honour him. Be blessed

In today episode we are reminded to soak up on the word of God so that when things are going on around us we are secure in God. Just like Shadrach Meshach and Abednego weren't touched when they were in the fire because God was with them we must remember that nothing can touch us when God is with us. So if things come to challenge us remember that nothing happens outside the will of God but know that even when we are thrown into that furnace or Lion den we need to remember that we serve a covenant keeping God. He is working all things out for our good. We may not see it or like what we are going through but God uses such experiences to build our faith and knowledge of him. So be encouraged and trust God.

* Fear is the absence of faith so chose faith
* Store up on the word of God

This week let the words of the Lord replenish and renew you for the journey ahead. He is a life giver, our supplier, our sustainer and our faithful friend. All he is saying is draw from me for he is that well that never runs dry. Draw from God today, tomorrow and forever.

Trust God

In today episode we continue with our reflections on what it means to trust God. We remind ourselves that in trusting God we know it is well. For we know God will never put on us more than we can bare so even though the things we may be going through are challenging us we remind ourselves that truly it is well. Keep trusting God for he is doing a work in you and preparing you for a new level in him. Trust God

In today episode we continue with our focus on trusting God. Trusting God means a shift from the false ideology that we are in control to the realisation that it has and will always be God in control. Take courage though, because we know that the Lord has got us in all seasons of our lives. Be encouraged and trust God.

In today's episode we are reminded of the importance of trusting God and not allowing ourselves to worry. Our response should always be to trust God and know that his strength is made perfect in our weakness. I encourage you to remind yourselves that tests make you stronger, they aren't to break you. So again I ask you to Let Go and Let God.
