I have worked in Himalayas to control plastic pollution, raise awareness for climate change in India and volunteered in Ladakh for preservation of Snow Leopard Habitats.

62: The Cigarette Bud Problem at Tourist Places - World No Tobacco Day Special Episode
31st May marks world no tobacco day. We talk about physical harms of smoking but rarely anyone pays attention to the millions of cigarette buds lying everywhere in the open. Discarded cigarette butts are a form of non-biodegradable, toxic waste that add to the landfills. A massive contributor of pollution, cigarette butts are made of cellulose acetate, a type of plastic that may take anywhere about 10 years to degrade.
