THE VISIT (2015)- No One Told Them This Yet, But Their Childhood is DEAD ☠️
In this one, we talk about how ideas from M Night Shyamalan's The Village were inverted here, which could be him realizing he hasn't made a good movie since Signs and now is the opportunity to make something to be PROUD of. Plus we analyze the colors here, yellow, red, and green and how even that is inverted this time from The Village. Yellow = BAD GUYS (instead of good) Red = GOOD GUYS (instead of bad, like in The Village).

US (2019) A Story of Eugenics, Classism, and Imposter Syndrome
In Jordan Peele's US (2019), we explore themes of how systems of class here in America inform race-relations.
Interestingly enough, Peele does it without making it explicitly about race itself.
There was a lot to chew on in this one from complex views on rich vs poor, who deserves what, and what it feels like to be out of place when everyone else seem to have it pretty easy; Red coming from "underground" and Adelaide feeling an inevitable and impending doom waiting on the other side of this 'supposed' fun family vacation.

A Ghost Waits (2020)- Feeling Unappreciated? Do These 6 Things - The Finals Horror Podcast
A Ghost Waits was hilarious and heartfelt, plus the music was awesome. This story of two unappreciated souls coming together definitely pulls on your heart strings at the end when everything comes to a head. More than being disillusioned with capitalism, the director was feeling immensely unappreciated at one point. Instead of completing any harm to himself, he wrote a story about a guy falling a love with a ghost. When Jack does get to finally be with Muriel, it turns a sad ending to an uplifting and dare we even say: triumphant. The DARK HOUR TACTICS segment tells you the 6 things you can do to get that appreciation you seek.
