This week I took the podcast solo to explain 5 key steps I like to take when looking to lose bodyfat myself and how I help clients go about it. I hosted a webinar 2 months ago going over this topic, so to some of you, this may seem a bit familiar. I thought the contents of that webinar were too valuable to be left there, so I wanted to share it somewhere where everybody could access to it!
In this episode, we discuss 5 steps to change your mindset towards fat loss, and following each step, I set you challenges. These challenges are designed to make you mega aware of what it is you need to take action on NOW, to make it crystal clear where to focus your time and energy to see the results YOU want! This isn't a 5 step quick fix promise - It will require hard work, this is just to clear the fog.

This week I am chatting to a good friend and online client of mine, Eoghan Flanagan. Eoghan and I started working together in January 2019, 18 months ago. Since then, not only have I seen Eoghan's body transform, but his mindset and life too. If there is one thing I preach, it's the important of taking action, and it's something I drill time and time again into my clients. What Eoghan has gotten out of it is incredible, and is the highlight of this podcast!
People are so afraid of taking risk and taking action that they simply settle for "enough". Eoghan's story shows how going above and beyond, taking action towards what you truly want and prioritizing your happiness are some of the most important decisions you can make!

The single most common thing a personal trainer will hear in the gym is an issue regarding losing body fat. So many want to lose it, but that same number find it extremely difficult to achieve any means of progress. It's extremely frustrating so in this podcast, I have set several goal outcomes I want you to take from the 22 minute listen
First of all, to understand the fundamentals behind fat loss: Energy balance, calories in vs out and your macronutrients.
The second thing I wanted to focus on was the main issue people have regarding fat loss. The mental aspect. Having a genuine WANT to lose weight, having the right mindset going into a fat loss phase and strategies and lifestyle changes you need to implement for a happy, successful and most importantly, a sustainable fat loss.
As always, if you have any questions, you can contact me via email at email@example.com or shoot me a DM on instagram @coachedbydan
