insight is only found when you spend time thinking about what you really want.
insight is only found when you spend time thinking about what you really want. Hello, I'm Dan Clark, and welcome. And great insight comes from focusing on some specific areas. What about clarity? I want to know what kind of person that you want to become. I mean, really, what do you really want out of life? And what do you want out of your personal life and out of your professional life, contemplating clarity in these two areas, your personal and your professional life can make a big impact on what you're actually doing. Because you're spending time thinking about and focusing on what you really want. Most of us dream about, but we don't really spend time thinking about what we really want. And here's the fortunate part, that if you think about it, and you begin to get clarity in what you really want, it's a lot easier to get what you really want. So, think about what you really want this week out of your personal and your professional life. Get some good clarity on that. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

Jean was 80 yrs old and learning to be a High Performace Coach !
I was in training this week and met a woman who was 80 years old. Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. As a matter of fact, Jean lived in West Germany, she was working with a company that was 120 years old. And she informed all of us that were in this training with her that she wanted to do more than what she was doing with these women that she worked with. This company was designed to teach women how to care for babies and to breastfeed. But she recognized there was a bigger need. And so she went on a search and discovered this training that I was in. And she wanted to help these women that she worked with have a bigger impact on their world. And she wanted to help these women see who they really were. It was fascinating. Jeanne had never really changed the way that she wanted to make an impact on the world. She just knew that she needed to continually be learning, because she needed to know was working right now. She knew that using old skills that she'd learned along the way, didn't work. She was fascinating. And she was fun to talk to. She was bright and alive and very articulate, and was very focused on making an impact on the world. She ran 120 year old company, and she was 80 years old. And she's working with women who are birthing and breastfeeding and raising children. My goodness, what a wonderful story. Now, I don't know what's going to happen to Jean going forward. But what I do know is that she was alive and bright at 80 and impacting her world. Hi, I want to be exactly like that and maybe even more when I'm 80 years old to Hi, love you. I'm Dan Clark.

greatness is found in the heart of many men, but few of them truly continue that greatness their entire life
greatness, influence and purpose. Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. Yes, greatness is found in the heart of many men, but few of them truly continue that greatness their entire life. Influence is also found in the depth of someone who has greatness and they continue that influence their entire life. Purpose is also found in the heart of a man who has greatness there also, and men who have greatness of influence, always continue to focus on their purpose and never let anything deter them. Recently, I was at a funeral of a friend of mine and I had the chance to speak and I shared those three things about Jeff. Jeff was a quadriplegic, had a tragic accident accident when he was 25 years old, and was in a chair for over 40 years. His accident was at 25 and he died at 65. But Jeff continued to be a prolific musician and writer even after his accident. He had greatness in his heart. He was an influencer and he never forgot his purpose about life. Jeff influenced every one of us, Jeff, we miss you dearly. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

What is the difference between thoughts and emotions: Lewis Holmes and Brian Surgeon tell us how to know the difference.
I was listening to a podcast yesterday by Lewis Holmes and he had Brian surgeon on hilum Dan Clark and welcome. And Brian was talking about the difference between thoughts and emotions. And he said that thoughts, but that are controlled don't actually change us. It's only when we learn how to manage the emotions that we have. He was talking about choosing the emotion that you want to have and noticing when an emotion that doesn't have any validity shows up just to throw it away to toss it out. I've loved that thinking. I mean, that really reinforces on a scientific way, how our emotions are so powerful. He said, If anyone wants to truly change their life, they need to pay attention to the emotional experiences that they're having. Because everything comes from emotions first, and then thoughts and then behaviors. That was so fascinating. So here we go. Remember, we are practicing learning how to manage the emotions on the inside of them, not pushing them away, but letting them show up and deciding whether we should keep them or not. Hi, love you. I'm Dan Clark.

The Amazing Reliency of the Human by in an interview it Brain Surgeon.
The resiliency of the human brain is amazing. Hello, I'm Dan Clark, and welcome. So matter of fact, it really is. I was watching a podcast by Lewis Holmes and he had Brian surgeon who was a brain surgeon on this podcast who talked about how he works with only stage four cancer brain patients. And how amazed he was at the resilience of the brain is the brain in the mind. He said that when someone finds out that they have cancer in their life is going to end the next time he sees them. It's amazing how they bounce back and are full of life and ready to take everything on even though they know that they may be not living very long. He says that his resiliency to him is amazing. His philosophy about life is having as many experiences as you can, knowing that, and I'm quoting him here that life always ends. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

Imperfect = "I am Perfect" !
imperfect is equal to I'm perfect. Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. You are a living being. You are a human being and things are not going to go well. You are going to screw up. It's impossible to be perfect. So you are imperfect and that is the perfection about you. Imperfection is how perfectly human we are. So practice allowing yourself to be imperfect. And when you screw up, practice letting go. Just let go. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

Meditation is a very important part of life.
Meditation is a very important part of life. Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. Now, if you're listening to this, I do know that you probably have heard me talk about meditation before. However, I want to specifically remind you that just five minutes of closing your eyes, getting quiet, and thinking deeply about who you are and what you want is a form of meditation. So slow down today, think quietly, more than one time today about what you really want out of life and be specific. Focus on your breath. Notice what you're thinking about, and then start asking the universe to bring you the things that you deeply want. These types of meditations can be powerfully transformational. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

when was the last time that you cried?
One of my standard questions is when was the last time that you cried Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. Why is that important? Because tears actually mean we are very congruent. Congruent means that we are the same inside as we are on the outside, that the emotion that shows up on the inside is showing up on the outside children are congruent emotionally. And when you're crying, you are very congruent. In other words, it's inside and outside at the same time. Now that's not how rage and anger is. Maybe sometimes that could be true about rage and anger. But for the most part, when you're raging, it's not really congruent, you're just dumping a bunch of emotions in the moment right when you're raging. So congruent means that you feel the emotion fully, and you don't prevent it from showing up. Now, here's the fascinating part about congruency and crying. When you are feeling emotion, it doesn't mean that you have to share it. It just means you shouldn't resist it that allows you to be congruent. When you allow yourself to experience the emotion, you'll cry a lot more often. Tears are the most wonderful thing, because they're the beautiful way that your body has helping you express an emotion that you can't verbally share. In other words, it's an overwhelm and overwhelmed like super happy or super sad, you know, are overwhelmed is not really a bad emotion when there's only one of them. Allow yourself to cry more often, and I promise it will make a big difference in how you feel about life. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

Graduation is a very important time of life !
Do you remember when you graduated from high school? Hello, I'm Dan Clark and welcome. I do in in my family, it was always a really big deal. I don't think I recognize the significance when I graduated. As much as I did the significance when my children graduated from high school. The impact that's happening in both the lives of the parent and the young adult that's graduating can only be understood as we get older. I'm working with a young adult, when she graduated from high school, there was no party, no celebration, and no one at our home to say congratulations, how sad. If you know someone that's graduating, please pay attention to what's happening in their life. And if you can make it as wonderful for them as you can, because we don't really know what's going on in other's lives either. So celebrate every single one that you know that's graduating this year. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.

I love you so much!
I love you more than you'll ever know. I really do. I get so filled with joy thinking about how I have the opportunity to be in your life. And I so am honored by that and thank you. It brings tears to my eyes. But I also want to tell you how sometimes I am sad because I don't get to spend the time with you that I would love to. Today I cried with multiple friends and had conversations about the joys and the sadnesses of life. Life is so short. I want you to know that I truly truly love you. I'm Dan Clark.
