“When the circumstances of life create dark clouds, I hope you’ll come to embrace lament as a divinely given liturgy, leading you to vocalize your pain as it moves you toward God-centered worship and trust. Lament is how you live between the poles of a hard life and trusting in God’s sovereignty. Lament is how we bring our sorrow to God.” (Mark Vroegop)
In this episode, I'll touch on some of the things we've covered in NAMB's UNDIVIDED series. I hope you've found the sessions informative, convicting, and inspiring. May God's Spirit lead us to be a church that reflects the diversity within our community and proclaim the diversity of his Kingdom! This is God's work!
Let's focus on Jesus. In Luke 3-4, we're going to see God prepares his Son, endorses his Son, qualifies his Son, validates his Son, commissions his Son...and THEN...prepares us for his Son. It's just what we need!
When we read our Bibles, it's important to remember it's not ABOUT us. It's about God. It's about Jesus. It's about God's saving work in our broken world today. It's not ABOUT us...but it is FOR us! And that's good news!
