We all have those days where our willpower and discipline seem to be non-existent and we have what we call a bad day or a failure of a day or a day that didn't only not put us closer to our goals but could have potentially put us further away. You need to understand that it is okay to have these days, we are all only human, but as long as the next day you pick yourself up and keep going.
We all have two voices the one inside being our feelings and thoughts on the one outside being the words we speak and actions we take. If both of these voices are not aligned, then you doing yourself a disservice. You need to be aligned with both voices to be happy.
With the new financial year about to kick off new goals been set, But other been set to what you truly believe or are you setting your goals from other people's points of view. Block out the naysayers and don't let other people install their limited beliefs on you.
So many people think that there is some sort of magic pill or potion that you can take and the results will come overnight. You blame the patch that didn't help you quit smoking, you blame the 12-week program for you not losing weight, well let me please something, they were all set up for failure right from the beginning. Do you want to know why and what you need to do to put yourself in a position to succeed?
The deeper I go on this journey of life and the further I go building my knowledge and experience the more I realise if I constantly take the approach that I know nothing the more I will be able to learn. The man who knows it all knows nothing..... Don't be that man!!!
Whether we are working on a project in the office or spending time with our family at home our mind can wander very quickly. Going all in and focusing on what you were doing at the present time is a very powerful thing. If you lose focus while working on a particular project you may find yourself having to spend a lot more time away from your family because you simply kept losing focus and having to reset the chain of thought back to what you're working on. The more you focus on what you are doing the more productive you will be and in return the more time you will have to spend elsewhere.
There is a big difference between the people that get anywhere in their life and the people that just stay in the same spot and it doesn't matter what area of your life it is whether it is business, Relationships, Health and fitness, Finances Or even your impact on the world.
Now let me just pause there for a second let you all know that those five things I just talked about, fulfilment in those areas of my life is how I define success . One of the biggest problems I hear is so many people talking about it and not actually just doing it.
Having and setting a budget is one of the most important things that we can do for any important financial decision we are making in our lives. Building a brand new home is definitely one of those decisions. Some people spend years and years saving up for their dream home, working the long hours, doing the double shifts and not going on those holidays to achieve their goals. So to say aid budget is needed is almost a bit of an understatement.
When setting a budget for a new home build I believe there are five critical items that you need to include when setting your budget
We all have these beliefs, whether or not we came up with them ourselves or other people told us we all have them. The problem with these beliefs is they could be the thing that is holding you back. These beliefs could be limiting you from reaching your goals. The only way to reach your full potential is to understand your limiting beliefs, the mental barriers that you have and break through them.
When people find out that I wake up at 4:15 AM they are quite often shocked. The next question they begin to ask me is what time do I go to bed, this is already a sign that you had the wrong mindset. The point is I have a ritual, a morning ritual that I follow, which I discovered through trial and error that helps me accomplish my goals and allows me to find more time for myself.
There are so many people out there complaining about things they have total control over. It's about time you start taking responsibility for where you are at in your life. You need to stop hitting the snooze button, get those negative thoughts and your head, start the day with some positive vibes and take control of our lives.
It's funny how you start to see life go full circle. Being the kid with the "Crazy" Parent, watching the kids with the "Crazy" Parent to being the "Crazy" Parent..... But now I have seen it from both sides of the fence and it is not what I thought it was!!!
So many people are not reaching their goals or achieving the thing that they set out to do and it is because of two things. Willpower and Discipline with not only help you reach your goals but help you build high leaves of self-confidence.
