Give them a shot
Do you know some of your best hires may not be those with the top skills? Have you ever wondered how those top skills you look to hire are made?
Short answer: someone gave them a shot.
And lastly, if you have been given a shot, give to others. Do not let the sun go down on you. If they have the right attitude, I believe you should give them that chance.
Grow from where you are
When I started my podcast in 2020, I started on a $30 microphone (it could be me who does not know how to set it right), today I record on my Samson G-Track Pro and a pro-grade recording software. I did not about all these nice tools till I decided to learn more.
There is a lot to be said, but my main point is – grow, step-by-step from where you are. It may not be fast, it may be extremely hard, but grow anyway. You can – grow from where you are.
Just do it
In 2020, I started a podcast – now co-hosted and gone global. In 2020 also, I decide to start livestreaming and it turned out that I produced more content than in all the previous years combined. I reached 1k subscribers and luckily got into the YouTube Partner Program early 2021.
Why should you just do it? Your future self will thank you.
