There are articles criticizing articles talking about how much confusing information is being put out there. I couldn't agree more. In this episode I will go through an example of a typical article and go over some of the myths in the myths section. The primary takeaway is that these are for entertainment purposes, for a general audience, follow generally accepted cultural guidelines, and in no way consider your personal health nor mental health issues. Therefore, you must be aware this information may easily derail your health as it often may not apply to you in your situation.

The Tipping Point

Learn more about my backstory and how I decided to lose weight and what keeps me going every day. I've struggled with health problems for a very long time, and continue to have issues. I know I'm not alone. I have taken control of my health and I want to show you not only that it can be done, but that you can do it too!

I describe my tipping point. If I couldn’t live without the medication and I couldn’t stand to be on it, I had to take matters into my own hands. I realized that the way I was eating and the way I was living was killing me. It wasn’t worth taking medications that were causing more pain than the exercise ever could.

This can happen in person or online. This is just a skim of the topic and hardly gets into the details of the issue. I want to share my experience as well as a couple of things to think about that might help you prepare yourself as you enter this more exciting aspect of your weight loss journey. Don't set yourself up for failure! Make sure you start your workouts so you can keep going once you've started!
