James is a U.S Marine Corp veteran who was always a guy who worked with his hands in either work or sports, James competed in Jiu--Jjitsu. After a motorcycle accident in 2006 James suffered nerve damage to his spine which meant his right arm was dead! Jame's went through some tough times thinking was his value in life?! James found a new lease of life competing in power-lifting and eventually found his passion in disabled strongman! Since then James has broken world records, won multiple national title and broke down every person that stereotypes disabled people!

Kevin was born with cerebral palsy which is a group of lifelong conditions that affect movement and co-ordination. Kevin didn't let his disability stop him from pursuing his passions as a kid and played high school football along with many other sports! When Kevin found the world of adaptive sport his life would be transformed for the better!! Kevin plays an inexpressive number of sports which include wheelchair football, baseball and even lacrosse!! Recently Kevin has also found a passion in comedy and performs stand up gigs, all this whilst having cerebral palsy!

The Talkin' Bull Talks Wheelchair Basketball & Para-Nordic Skiing with Kevin Burnside JR

Kevin was born with Spina bifida which is a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. Kev never let that hold him back and played and competed at able bodied basketball at a young age. At the age of 13 Kev was introduced to wheelchair basketball, it was tough adjusting to playing in a wheelchair but when Kev did boy he make make noise!! Over the years Kev had have both of his legs amputated below the knee, it wasn't long until Kev was competing at a national level at para-Nordic skiing and para-biathlon! Kev's journey to get to his happy place wasn't easy, but he is ready to show he world what he is made of!

Since a young age Katt was experiencing unusual unexplained symptoms which made Katt not able to be active! Katt had to fight for years to get a medical professional to believe it was non down to mental health! After a wrong diagnosis of bipolar disorder Katt decided to take control and try and use exercise as her medication, Katt soon found a passion for wanting to help people and bodybuilding! Soon Katt entered her first show and went on to win the PCA Bikini Model Category whilst still faced with dealing with Relapse Remitting Multiple Sclerosis!

The Talkin' Bull Talks Para Show Jumping with Laura Goodall

Laura starting competing in the sport of show jumping when she was just 13 years old, at this point Laura had hers life planned out aiming to dominate the world of show jumping! Laura's life was dedicated to caring and loving her horses, however life would start to take a turn for the worse when Laura was experiencing symptoms whilst competing such as sight loss and muscle weakness which would often make her fall off the horse! Laura had a tough battle with health practitioners to get a diagnoses and at time was labelled a "time waster"! After persistent battle Laura was eventually diagnosed with Relapse Remitting Multiple Sclerosis! Laura had some dark times ahead but fought through to become 1 of the best show jumpers in the UK!

The Talkin' Bull Talks Sled Hockey and Nordic Skiing with Lera Doederlein

Lera was born in Russia with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a severe condition that affects joints in her legs. She was adopted and moved to the US at nearly two years old, where she used forearm crutches as her main form of mobility. When she grew into her teenage years, she had been told life would get harder in the future, with mobility getting more restrictive for her. At 14 years old she decided to double-amputate both of her legs above the knee.

It wasn't long before Lera was introduced to adaptive sports! Lera was selected to play for the 2019-2020 women’s US national sled hockey team after only two years of playing the sport, Lera is making her mark in the sport and is hoping to help get woman's Sled Hockey a Paralympic sport (like the males is!). Lera has ambitions of competing in the Paralympic's at Nordic Skiing! On top of this Lera also competes in Hand Cycling and Adaptive Surfing!
