When Christians say that abortion is a moral evil, we aren't making it up. Psalm 139 teaches us that God made every single person from conception, endowing them with the right to live. But He didn't just make you; He also sees you fully, knows you intimately, and loves you deeply.

How you respond to failure is just as important as planning for success. In this episode, Pastor Dave takes you through Mark 14:26-31 and the account of Peter's Denial of Christ, highlighting how you can respond to failure, especially of the spiritual kind.

Last week, David began the "Basic Training" series by investigating first three questions in most catechisms: 

1. Who made you? God made me.
2. What else did God make? God made all things.
3. Why did God make me and all things? God made me and all things for His own glory.

This begs an obvious question: HOW can I glorify God? In today's message, David explores how obedience is God's love language. If we will obey God, we can love and, ultimately, bring Him glory. Which is why He created us in the first place.

When a people forget what's important, rot sets in. That's what has happened in our country, but also in the church.

In this series, David takes Bear Swamp Baptist Church back to the basics. Using a normal catechism, David will help you understand the Bible in a systematic way. The goal is to achieve a "box-top" view of the Bible.
