MAX Boogie. 2nd place winner at The Natural Hustle Entertainment's 2nd annual Performing with a Purpose Juneteenth Celebration.
Max Boogie
I was born & raised on the East Side of Buffalo NY.
Writing and creating music started from me looking for an outlet where I could open up and express myself in ways that I never used to do. That was the beginning phase. When I actually started pursuing music, I learned that I had a passion for it. I wanted to create music about my life and experiences in order to touch/reach people who may be going through the same type of real life situations. It was the only thing I could see myself doing to change my life as well as others around me.
I’ve been actively pursuing music since about 2018. I think what sets me apart from a lot of other artist Is my authenticity. I'm humble, I'm genuine, and I don’t have ill intentions for ANYONE that doesn’t have it for me. Which is something you might not come across everyday in today's world. I also believe I have my own style and sound when it comes to my craft.
I think honestly over the past 4 Years a lot of the hard work I've been putting in is finally starting to pay off now. So I would say I’m on the verge of some new accomplishments & achievements in the near future.
Some accomplishments I can say now is obviously being the 2nd place winner at The Natural Hustle Entertainment's 2nd annual Performing with a Purpose Juneteenth Celebration. I also made the radio last month for “716 Homegrown Heat Show” with my single “King Or Pawn”. I’ve performed at numerous venues including Stamps The Bar, Varsity Theatre, Buffalo Grill & Ale House, Buffalo Iron Works, The Groove Lounge, as well as The Union Tavern In Boston/Somerville, Massachusetts.
Some goals for the future is that I’m looking to establish a merch line for my brand. That's really huge for me as of right now. I also want to start getting some even bigger performance opportunities like opening for big names, performing at bigger and better venues, traveling & getting up there in front of larger crowds, maybe eventually reaching a point where I can have my own shows & tours.

KING TRAV ft. Kendrick Lamar, Kanye and NAS
Versatile rapper-songwriter and producer King Trav’s music infuses crisp lyricism of visions painted with words over sophisticated instrumentation and GRIMEY drum brakes and is a description of thoughts and experiences. King Trav’s upcoming project, The Summer’s Over, is a continuation of his work that proves his consistency with another incredible offering to add to his catalog.
Travs’s musical influence was introduced through jazz being inspired by pianist Duke Ellington which transitioned to a love for hip-hop. Other influences include Nas, DMX and Method Man. Raised on the East Side of Buffalo, New York King Trav would begin his journey on the East side which molded him with street smarts that has driven him to becoming an artist and businessman. No stranger to uphill battles Trav has been wired with a fire and persistence that will last the test of time.
King Trav’s talent as a rapper-songwriter began to bud in Buffalo early on with a few singles followed by his freshman project Humble Pie in 2020. That same year Trav would continue to create a name for himself putting out an EP called Greed. He would then follow up with a third project called The Thesis, which is also documented on a vlog series via Trav’s YouTube channel. My Life. An Interview with Tamika Collins- Murphy of MMB Realty Group featuring Mary J. Blige.
A great interview with one of the owners of a local realty group that s taking Buffalo and WNY by storm!
MMB started their joint venture in 2020 in the midst of the worldwide pandemic. It is at these times we find it easy to reflect on what means most to us, the values we believe in as individuals, and the way we are living those values day to day.
These reflections have brought clarity to our lives, personally and professionally.
There is a lot of information for you in this podcast about starting a business, owning a business and building generational wealth!

Days' I have a Dream!
Not what you expect! Try it out and tell me what you think. I thought I would add a nice poem that I wrote so many years ago. I dont sound the same today! Its funny hearing yourself from back in the day when I was going hard as a Spoken Work Poet. I simply sat down, put on an instrumental that I liked and let GOD take the wheel. I have recently been inspired to write many poems the same way. If you like it, great! If you don't, great! My love for poetry is for me and GOD, not for you. I know that seems hard but no-one said it would be easy. Enjoy the ride....or not! I'm going to be me!

Cognac and Cigars with Mr. Isaac Hayes
My FAMILY decided to stop by the Purple Rain studio to wish me a happy birthday. We laughed, and they gave me gifts and cards and a beautiful PRINCE picture for the studio. Then my homeboy showed up with some Cognac and Cigars and my brother -in-law (brother) stayed and we listened to these Isaac Hayes songs and recorded this podcast on 12/08/2020. R.I.P Aunt Rose Lee Jordan! Hope you enjoy!

Cognac and Cigars with Cameo, Minnie Riperton and Eddie Kindricks

That VOICE! Barry White
Welcome to season 4 episode 1. This season we will explore the singers, the messages, the moods, love, the art form, the artist, cognac and cigars! I hope you enjoy this first episode about "That Voice" Mr. Barry White!

What happened to Aaron Hall...?
Sit back and listen to one voice that always seemed to be powerful and in stereo! Also, learn that he was called the NASTY Man for a reason. I mean R. Kelly stole his vibe so hard that he even started sleeting with 16 year old girls. Well, Aaron Hall actually... you will just have to listen!

A tribute to Brooklyn NY's own "Intro"
In 1993 I discovered a male trio called "Intro" and the way they harmonized blew my mind, but then...I heard the lead singer! I wish I could sing like this guy and in fact I pretend that my voice sounds like his when I am singing their songs! (LMAO). This is my triple song play episode to show my gratitude for this group, they helped me learn to speak to the ladies... Hope you enjoy!

Guess the artist?
My mother introduced me to this artist and as a child listening to them my life was forever changed (lmao). I couldn't keep a straight face during the conversation because I know that you already understood who the artist was... Have fun and I hope you like this artist and the song as much as I do....

Black America Again... Common Ft. Stevie Wonder
Sometimes a song can speak for you!

THE WU-TANG CONVERSATION (epic)

I hold no Grudge

DREAM VARIATIONS
A poet and novelist Daydream was one of the major figures of the Renaissance. In the following passage Dream Variations, Daydream describes how his mind became a tourist destination if you want to explore the other side of the looking glass.
Notice how his predominately paratactic style (along with his reliance on series of two previous episodes) gives a casual, conversational flavor. It explores the very real concept of a psychotic break that could happen in an average, everyday, normal person! With the refreshing overture of Arehta Franklin's song daydreaming and I'm thing of you! what an enticing episode.

What is happening to my mind!!
Something is definitely wrong, Am I losing my mind?

OMG PLEASE HELP M E
I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON!!!! My poem for mental health illness. We will discuss at the end of the few episodes. My entire life I have been gifted dreams or visions about things I didn't understand. In this episode I am able to channel a person who has a mental break and present a realist poem about the life of knowing and not knowing. Lets discuss it!

My Green Eyes, I think I love you!??!

'Cause I love you!
I walked down the isle to this song. When you talk about singers that put their all into a song you have to mention Lenny WIlliams. When you hear this song, you sing it. You cannot help but to sing it because you feel it in your soul!

The Journey to Daydream
I once was a poet! I presented poetry at night clubs and had a tv show. The night clubs had a Love Jones movie feel (that's a movie look it up). The bands were small three to four pieces that played live music behind the poets. I even have a poetry book and a CD that I sold during those moments in time. This episode explores those moments. I am playing some of that Poetry CD from wayyyyyyy back when I was on that Journey to Daydream! Enjoy

DC titans episode 1 season 1
Check us out on this music break as my brother Henny and I watch and discuss DC titans season 1 episode 1. Plus we talk about comics and other DC things!!!

Just be good to me?
As we continue to explore my mental health issues we also continue to discuss love/addiction as the S.O.S Band sings "just be good to me". A song that has lyrics hat say.." I don't care about your other girls, just be good to me"! Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Sharing is not caring!
