Kind
I know this one’s gonna be a little bit of a thing, but be as kind to yourself as you are willing to be to literally everyone else on the entire planet. Extend your kindness and care to yourself - you are the most worthy recipient of your love and care.
Be
I know there have been several groups of people who have discouraged and punished you in some form for being yourself, but I have to break a truth to you: you are yourself.
Heal
You do not have to live in a world where your health needs are not being consistently met. You are an adult - pick up the phone and call the doctor, even though you’re sure you’ll cry the whole time.
Survive
I have seen you accomplish so much more than you are dreaming about right now, and you will eventually be kind of glad that you didn’t actually die when you thought you wanted to. You’re still going to want to die sometimes, though.
Release
If they stopped talking to you after you finished school / left the job / got divorced, that’s ok. Let them go. You don’t need them where we’re headed.
Breathe
Remember the diamond? Pressure and heat until brilliance... Just breathe.
Feel
It is not okay for other people to tell you how you are allowed to feel. Feel it anyway (cuz girl, you’re gonna).
Wait
Maybe wait a little longer to get married - give yourself time to get out of one dumpster fire before jumping into another one.
Think
You're not crazy. Okay, a little bit. But not like you think.
Listen
Learn to listen to yourself - you've got the inside scoop.
