In Emi's hometown series episode, she tells the tragic story of a metro bus that plunges off Seattle's Aurora Bridge after driver is shot on November 27, 1998. You will hear about how one man's quick reactions changes the lives of many people on that bus.

Emi discusses the finding of a young girl in the woods in Lincoln County, Oregon on December 10th, 2020. State police are working with genetic genealogists to identify the child. This week Emi brings you the story behind Nirvanas 1991 hit "Polly". While it might just seem like a typical, low-key grunge song, the truth behind the song is a story of psychopathy, derangement, and the strong little girl who found her way out.

This week, Jordan covers the horrible story behind the song “Georgia Lee” by Tom Waits. It’s been 23 years since 12 year old Georgia Lee’s death and her case is still unsolved. The day after Christmas in 2007, Linda Thiele knocked on the door of the Anderson residence out of concern for her friend, Judy Anderson. As Linda peered into Judy and Wayne's home, she knew right away that something horrible had happened inside. Little did Linda know at the time, Christmas Eve of 2007 would become known as one of the most horrendous murder cases in Washington State history. 

This week, Emi comes to you with the story of Lyda Trueblood (this is her original name btw). Lyda is someone who many people now consider one of the first known female serial killers in the United States. And wouldn’t ya know it, she is know dubbed as the “Black Widow” and “Fly Paper Lyda”. Jordan covers the tragic murders of Susanna Stodden and Mary Cooper along the Pinnacle Lake trail in Washington. This story still haunts the hiking community around the PNW today. Emi covers a story that while, it hasn't received much attention today, it changed the trajectory of how safe we feel in the Olympic National Park. Shortly after that, she headed to the Olympic National Park where she would attempt to reach the most northwestern part of Washington State. Jane Constantino was unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time.
