Deep & Wide will talk about the deeper things of the Christian faith, such as theology and apologetics. We will also look at a variety of topics, things that are practical in nature and culturally current. Join me on a faith journey that will both challenge growth and inspire hope!
This week we continued our series on “God Is” and looked at the attribute of His holiness. When we take a step back from all that is going on in the world; politically, emotionally, and spiritually it allows us to see God as He is and not through the wrong filter.
This week we discuss race, politics, and what does scripture say about these topics. I dove into the Word on what our response should be as the Church during this time. This is the time for the church to stand up and be the Light!
Disciples aren't made on Sunday mornings, they're made in community. I'm not saying that we should throw out the corporate service/gathering, but I am saying that it is insufficient in making mature disciples who are mature. This week I discussed how the smaller intimate gatherings are more effective in our growth as believers than just attending a Sunday morning service.
We are kicking off a series on being a disciple, what does that mean and how do we deal with what’s going on the inside? This week we talk about the struggle within, about the times we’re “not feeling it” or when we just feel like we’re wrestling with God.
What's my calling? I wish I knew my purpose in life... I have heard these questions and statements alike more times than I can count. In this weeks episode I talk about why I am quitting on pursuing my calling, and focusing on the one who calls. Listen in if you want to find freedom from the burden of chasing your purpose.

Morality may also be specifically synonymous with "goodness" or "rightness". So why is this bad, overrated, or wrong?!? Tune in to find out why Jesus didn’t come for our morals but for our heart.
