Pizzagate: The Dark Web of Conspiracy

Pizzagate: The Dark Web of Conspiracy

Pizzagate emerged during the 2016 United States presidential election, fueled by the hacking of John Podesta's email account and subsequent publication of his emails by WikiLeaks. Proponents of the theory falsely claimed that these emails contained coded messages linking high-ranking Democratic Party officials and U.S. restaurants to a fictional human trafficking and child sex ring.

We delve into the key players behind the propagation of Pizzagate, including alt-right activists, conservative journalists, and influential figures from outside the political sphere. We examine how social media platforms such as 4chan, 8chan, Reddit, and Twitter played a pivotal role in spreading the conspiracy theory and discuss the misuse of real events to lend credibility to baseless claims.

Our podcast also sheds light on the dangerous real-world implications of Pizzagate. We explore the case of Edgar Maddison Welch, who believed in the theory and carried out an armed attack on Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in Washington, D.C. We discuss the subsequent public reactions, the legal repercussions faced by those involved, and the broader conversations surrounding the responsibilities of social media platforms.

Was Sunny Sheu killed for exposing corruption?

Was Sunny Sheu killed for exposing corruption?

Sunny Sheu, who lived in Flushing, Queens, found out in the year 2000 that his house had been sold without his knowledge as part of a scam. He was able to fight back and get the thieves arrested, but the Mortgage Company wouldn't give him the house back. He took them to court, where, at least according to Sunny, Judge Golia didn't give him a chance to prove that he had been scammed.

Sunny was tired of not getting justice after 10 years, so he looked into the Judge's financial disclosures and found some problems. After he told them, he worried that his life might be in danger. Then, on June 26, 2010, a Queens man named Sunny Sheu was found badly hurt on a quiet street in College Point, NY. He was taken to New York Hospital of Queens, where he died soon after.

His death is still not clear.

BAT P**SY! The Worst Adult Film Ever!

BAT P**SY! The Worst Adult Film Ever!

Its not every day the worst adult film ever made is discovered in the back of a Porno Theater in Memphis, Tennessee, but that is exactly what happened when filmmaker Mike McCarthy found a 16mm reel simply titled BAT PUSSY. Considered to be the first X-rated parody, the movie Bat Pussy is as lurid and tasteless as its title implies. Put another way: It’s mess-terpiece of your wildest dreams… And also your most horrifying nightmares. The citizens of Gothum City are under attack by smut filmmakers and only one hero can help! Bat Pussy (Dora Dildo) hangs out in her secret headquarters (aka an outhouse). When her “twat begins to twitch,” warning her of imminent crime, Bat Pussy hops on her Holy Hippity-Hop to foil the grotesque sex schemes of un-happily married couple Buddy and Sam! The unidentified lunatic filmmakers of Bat Pussy have never been located, providing further proof that this movie was most likely made by extraterrestrials.

The Jungle Book was based off of THIS real life Feral Child

In 1984 Rudyard Kipling, an English Author, published a book of short stories called THE JUNGLE BOOK. The story featured the character Mowgli, who was found and raised by wolves. That story was actually based off the discovery of Dina Sanichar from 1872. Dina Sanichar (1860 or 1861–1895) was a feral child. Sanichar was discovered by a group of hunters among wolves in a cave in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, India in February 1867, at the age of around six. Sanichar was taken to Sikandra Mission Orphanage where he was given the name "Sanichar" because he arrived on a Saturday. When he arrived at the orphanage, he reportedly walked on all fours and ate raw meat. While he could not speak, he would make sounds similar to a wolf. He went on to live among other humans for over twenty years but never learned to speak and remained seriously impaired his entire life. Sanichar was a heavy smoker. He supposedly died of tuberculosis in 1895.
