 Nicole's Bio-

I am the proud owner of Barre Fit Warriors and Coach the Livestream and On-Demand classes. I believe that fitness should be inclusive and accessible to everyone, which is why I want BFW to be the epitome of online fitness that connects people through a shared passion for movement and well-being. At BFW, we have a community to uplift one another.

To be our best self and take care of others we also must look after ourselves. Every day I take actions that contribute to my well-being. I breathe and I meditate; for the longest time, I’ve been starting my day by setting an intention for myself. I also allow myself 30 minutes a day to worry, where I don’t do anything else but then it’s out of my mind for the rest of the day. I also take the time to be present and play with my dogs at different moments in the day, it makes me happy; I think anything that makes you happy is good for your mental health.

I started my fitness career as a professional dancer and had a successful career for over 25 years. I then moved on to get certified as a Yoga Instructor in Hatha, Yin, Restorative & Gravity Yoga. I am also a Certified American Barre Technique Master Instructor/Barre Coach, and a Piloxing SSP/Piloxing Barre Instructor. I strive to keep growing my repertoire of fitness knowledge to offer more diverse classes that target the needs of everyone and are focused on holistic wellness.

Healthy is more than a workout, it’s a process and one I look forward to guiding you through.

Episode 7 An Interview With Alison Angold On What You Can Do For Self-care During Menopause.

Episode 7 An Interview With Alison Angold On What You Can Do For Self-care During Menopause.

Alison is a fully qualified beauty, massage, and aromatherapist.  With over 25 years’ experience in this industry, she also teaches these subjects to budding therapists!  Within her career, she has worked in a variety of salons and spas, and directly for skincare companies, as well as teaching for different colleges and setting up her own private training academy.

Last year she had a hysterectomy, which put her into surgical menopause.  This led her to learn about the skin changes during this time and discovered that hormones have much more of an effect on the skin than just acne.  The decline of estrogen during menopause causes many other skin issues, and she decided that she wanted to help women with these changes and this evolved into including a self-care aspect, to help women deal with the many other symptoms of menopause on her blog.  Alison’s knowledge of the skin, body, and aromatherapy allows her to look at natural solutions and remedies for the difficult times of menopause.

Keynotes:

Explains what you can do for self-care during menopause

Tells you about her 10-step plan for an easier menopause

Explains what happens to your skin and what products she would recommend in helping with those issues

She will list the steps and what product she uses for her daily skincare routine

Thank you Alison for being here today.  You gave us a lot of great information on how women can deal with symptoms of going through menopause.  Also, I want to thank the audience for listening today and hope you found Episode 7 on What You Can Do For Self-care During Menopause, informative.  Feel free to subscribe, like this video, share this episode, or comment, and join our community.  You can click on the message button if you have any questions or comments.  If you like this podcast and would like to be a listener supporter this support helps me keep making great episodes and improve my podcast, which is so appreciated!  Be sure and join us again for more interviews and information on health and fitness.  Have a blessed day!
