I made and broke first political promise. 

After I announced I wasn't going to attend the convention, supporters and others came out of the woodwork asking me to speak. Then I got an email from the Green Party saying I was eligible to attend.

I gave the majority of my time to others in my speech to the party in hopes that there will be ethical change in the party.

Unfortunately, there have been several Green Party insiders in chair positions who have been rigging the Presidential Primary by changing/ignoring rules, and generally participating in exclusionary acts.

Myself and others are filing discrimination claims to the FEC and are exploring other legal avenues. This is the time for an ethics committee in the Green Party US to ensure there is no nepotistic actions or conflicts of interest.

This is not the end of the campaign, I will still fight.

This time there was no yelling and obstruction at the event. Everyone was respectful of each other and we all participated equally. (A rare instance in the Green Party 2020 Presidential campaign.)

This is part one of two parts of the Ohio Green Party Presidential Debates.

At the beginning there was a fracas about whether or not to allow the "unrecognized" candidates to participate. A vote was taken and the Ohio Green Party membership by a narrow margin decided to not allow Chad Wilson and Susan Boucher-Lohocki to participate.

Sedinam Moyowasifza-Curry, David Rolde, and myself donated our times to allow the other candidates to participate. Dario Hunter was given a chance to allow them to participate but decided to keep his time unused.

We have to discuss reparations. Obama being elected president is not reparations and anyone repeating this is either ignorant of or benefiting from white-supremacy and racism.

The Economy Depends On Minimum Wage The best indicator of a good economy is the number of people who are able to support their families with a single income. The Government has failed me and you by keeping minimum wage low and allowing companies to off-shore jobs and their money to hide it from taxes. I support a $25 hourly minimum wage for ALL employment. It’s about responsibility and respect for the people.

Dario Hunter, David Rolde, Howie Hawkins, and myself appeared and spoke with the Missouri Green Party for their presidential debate on August 11th, 2019.

I let slip a little about my campaign that I have started working on building a presidential cabinet for the people.

This is the second half of the Black Caucus Presidential Debate in Muncie, IN on September 20th, 2019. The following Green Party Candidates for President were present: David Rolde, Chad Wilson, Dario Hunter, Ian Schlackman, Howie Hawkins and myself. Unfortunately Sedinam Moyowasifza-Curry was not able to attend.

I experienced some technical difficulties in the recording so we only have the second half of the debate to present. I made no edits to the content other than to remove pauses in the questions and answers.

The first person to speak is Monica Stinson Brown, who was the host and timekeeper for the event. David Rolde answers the first question from the debate.

I want to thank the other members of the Green Party Black Caucus who helped to organized and run the event: Trahern Crews and Robin Harris. If there is anyone else I am forgetting who worked to make the event a success, I am sorry and will get you next time.

The biggest surprise to come out of the event is that Howie Hawkins is running not only as a Green, but also as a Socialist in New York- a clear violation of the Green Party Presidential Campaign support Committee's rules that all candidates had to sign to participate in the Green Party Presidential campaign.
