The Quarterly Mastermind is a passion project focused adding massive value in the marketplace. The starting point of all achievement is setting a destination. What is it that you want to achieve? What is success for you? What goals will help me get there? These questions are foundational to understanding the true essence of goal setting. Too many times, goals are set on a whim but setting goals from just an emotional state without a proper foundation is setting yourself up for failure. Here are three things that I highly recommend in order to set your goals correctly.
We all know that good communication is important but how many of us actually take a step back to question our innate communication habits and the responses that creates in others? The key is awareness.
Millions of people around the world set New Year's Resolutions every year but most quit them 1-2 months into the year. Here are 5 Steps to help you create and successfully achieve your New Year's Resolutions in 2019.
Faith gets associated with religion too many times but the reality is that faith is a powerful force that we all have access to. Success is much easier when we have faith. Faith gives us the confidence to pursue those big dreams that to many, especially those without faith, seems impossible or unlikely.
So many of us avoid failure. We try really hard to not fail and if we think we might fail then we trick ourselves into rationalizing why we should not do it in the first place. Successful people understand that failure is a KEY to success. As a matter of fact, it is a required key.
Being a high-performer is NOT a destination. It is a process of consistent and strategic focused effort exerted over-time. The question is not if you can be one, the question is if you really want to be one and better yet if you are willing to do what it takes to become one.
A legacy is not just the material possesions we leave behind when we leave this earth, it is the ripple effects of the impact we were able to make because we decided to live our life to the fullest. It is our ability to love and pursue what we were called to pursue.
What are your life standards? How are they shaping the life you live and what you see as possible? Our life standards are powerful unconcious forces that play a role on everything; successful people make the conscious decision to shape the standards that serve them.
Have you ever focused your energy and attention on something important and amazed yourself on how fast time flew by and or how much you were able to accomplish? Successful people understand how to value their time enough to focus on what is most important.
We all live within our comfort zones. There is nothing inherently wrong with that until we have big dreams that lie far outside what we have and who we are now. Then we will need to consistently step out of our comfort zones achieve those goals.
Procrastination kills more dreams than anything else ever will. The underlying issue is that is subtle. We have free will that we exercise every single day and most of our decisions seem inconsequential but when they are compounded over time, they shape your future.
Self-Confidence is by far one of the most important qualities of the successful but it is NOT the fake it till you make it. It goes much deeper than that. You can have all the confience you need to achieve your dreams.
We have all heard, "follow your heart" but what does it really mean? Successful people understand how to follow their hearts in the process of building their lives. They can diferentiate between feelings, thoughts and what goes beyond the two.
Challenges are a part life and they come in many forms. What matters most is how we respond to these challenges and what it makes of us. Challenges is what has provided the most successful people with the wisdom, knowledge and character to withstand the inevitable bumps that are found on the road to success.
