We officially kicked off Season 2 with the talented Nyerere "Nye the Songwrita" Davidson! For this one, we sat down with 2023 Share The Vibes Fest performer Tru West! Tru gave us a deeper look into her many layers as a creator. We learned about her spirituality and plans to be a therapist in childhood and how that has translated into healing through her music. We discussed her experience as an actress and being part of film soundtracks. Tru even gets into her culinary business Tru's Treats & Vegan Eats. Lastly, you know we got into a dope Vibe Talk segment and got the backstory on a few of her favorite songs. We sat down with another highly anticipated 2023 Share The Vibes Fest performer B. Justice! We kicked things off with B. sharing his experience of performing in the Milwaukee Bucks arena last year at the Foureva Media Lead The Movement Conference. We discussed how despite being a Milwaukee native and appreciating the "Milwaukee Sound," the inspiration for his music came largely from acts on the national scale outside of the city like LL Cool J. We sat down with our 2023 Share The Vibes Fest Headliner Emmitt James for this one! We discussed his upcoming show at Summerfest (deemed "The World's Largest Music Festival") in Milwaukee on June 29th. Emmitt walked us through how different life experiences have shaped his creative process from being a former Youth Pastor to becoming a poet and spoken word artist to living in LA the last 8 years. Share The Vibes went international with this one as we sat down with Mar1asol, an emerging R&B/Neo-Soul songstress in Argentina! Mar1asol talked us through her biggest musical inspirations growing up from Anita Baker to Adina Howard. We delve into her creative process and the nuances of being an R&B artist in a country where majority of the people don't even speak English, which led us to her latest EP "Different" and the backstory of a few vibes on the project. She shared the experience of her music going viral on Tik Tok and getting placements on a number of playlists and music charts. We even learned that she is in the process of becoming a voting member of the Recording Academy (The Grammys)! Upon the release of his new project "Blue Roses," one of Milwaukee's most versatile Hip Hop artists and musicians Cardiac Da Pulse sat down with us to discuss the new body of work and his process for creating it. Cardiac shares how art has been an integral part of his life since childhood and walks us through his artistic journey from tap dancing to rap.
