The Supreme Court fucking everything up, NBA free agency, Tennessee State's got a hockey team and we were blessed with a Tiny Desk from Juvenile! All that and more on the newest episode of the Play-By-Play Analysis!
Across The Atlantic
Whether it's Victor Wembanyama flying across the Atlantic Ocean to get drafted No.1 overall or submarines sinking to the bottom of it, we've got you covered! Jordan Poole is now in Pretty Girl County so we know he's putting up 35 a night, and the Phoenix Suns still suck at team-building. Billionaires are clearly ridiculous people that have too much money laying around, and the Migos made a long-awaited reunion to honor one of their own. Regardless of the situation, this newest episode of the Play-By-Play Analysis is here to let you know: These jokes will fly!

0-150: Sucks to Suck, Boston
They didn't make it easy on themselves, but the Miami Heat managed to avoid making history against the Celtics and instead punched their ticket to the NBA Finals, meaning teams trailing 3-0 in an NBA series are now 0-150 all-time. We discuss why all the people complaining about how uncompelling this Finals matchup between Miami and Denver is are full of it, why there aren't more black people in hockey and whether this is the beginning of the end for the dynasty in the Bay. Also, Jimmy Butler does the most Jimmy Butlerest thing possible, and where the Celtics go from here. And shoutout to Drake on the intro because I'm sure Jimmy Cooks will be getting quite the streaming boost over the next few weeks thanks to No.22 in Red and white. All of this and more on the newest episode of the Play-By-Play Analysis!

NBA Youngboy or A Young Boy in the NBA?
Ja, you gotta chill bro.
From Morant to Jalen Carter and others, we got a message to the youngins: Y'all gotta make better decisions. We accept dumb but we can't tolerate stupidity. Also:
The main thing we would change about the NCAA tournament on the eve of another highly-anticipated March Madness, white folks having the audacity per usual and the surprising (and not-so-surprising) survey results from the NFL's first ever teams report card. We discuss it all in the return of the Play-By-Play Analysis!
WHO ALL THEY NEED?!
African-Americans Plus Mark
We've got an all-black Super Bowl! Well, sort of. We've got a bunch of African Americans, plus...MARK (And in Patrick Mahomes's case he's both African-American AND Mark)!!
The Play-By-Play Analysis returns to discuss the historic first Super Bowl between two teams led by black quarterbacks in the Eagles and Chiefs, and how they both got here. We've got some words on that Tyre Nichols video and how it feels to be black men in America, and why more police has never equated to anything productive. We also have to understand why the Empire State Building is lit up in Eagles colors, why any HBCU would offer a scholarship to a white kid that said the N-word and...get this...how Jamal ended up sumo-wrestling on a Saturday night (You gotta listen to get that story). We're back and got some words
We Got Time Today
We got some words today.
We've got some words on the NFL postseason and what we expect this weekend. We've got words on the NBA's crowded MVP race.
We've got words on Ron DeSantis and his trash ass administration's continued attacks on anybody that ain't straight, white and Christian. We got words for Ed Reed's rant, and words for those that don't care to have a nuanced conversation surrounding the plight of HBCU athletics today.
We've got words for anybody that'll listen. We've got time today.
Got Beat Like They Stole Somethin'
TCU got a Joe Jackson style ass-whooping, so we're here to set the record straight about Georgia, TCU and those teams hating from outside the club (Looking at you, Bama fans). Also: The NFL Playoff games and why the neutral game concept might be here to stay, the Houston Texans are a hot ass mess and what Reggie Bush and Critical Race Theory have in common (Just hear me out on this one). This is the Play-By-Play Analysis going back-to-back like Jordan in 96 and 97!
Prayers for Damar
Just a week into 2023, we're already off to a crazy start. Following a scary incident Monday in which Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed and had to receive CPR on the football field, we discuss how the incident has affected those of us watching as well as the NFL community at large, and we have some words for the people looking to get reactions out of people with their ill-timed responses. Also:
Why these college football playoffs were the best ones yet and why TCU isn't to be overlooked, a very calm and collected reaction to the Commanders' latest embarrassment and what Benedict Cumberlatch, reparations, Barbados and the Antebellum Avengers have to do with each other...trust me you'll see.
It's the very first Play-By-Play Analysis of the New Year!
2022 Was A Moment
2022 was quite the year. The state of Mississippi had the eyes of the country on it like never before from the dominance of Jackson State and Deion Sanders to Brett Favre stealing welfare money to the untimely passing of Mike Leach. There was the Russian invasion of Ukraine and all the outrage (Real and fake) that came with it. The passing of icons like Bill Russell and Pele, and the much more controversial Queen Elizabeth. There was the conviction of Tory Lanez, the continued downfall of Kanye and Kyrie and the Nets putting their foot in their mouths per usual. Oh, and Matthew Stafford finally won a Super Bowl. We discuss all that made 2022 stand out, and what we hope for 2023! Happy New Year from the Play-By-Play Analysis!
F*** the Giants
No, I haven't gotten over it. Yes, I'm probably doing too much. Also yes, this was one of the drunkest sports weekends ever.
There was the greatest HBCU football game I've seen in person, there was the all-timer of a championship finish in Qatar, and there was a weekend full of wild NFL finishes from a 33-0 comeback to one of the most bizzare pitchbacks you'll see in an NFL game. We discuss it all and more on the newest episode of the Play-By-Play Analysis!
