Dew Tour Live

In this week’s Dew Tour Live, we welcome skateboarders Dave Bachinsky and Greg Lutzka on episode thirteen. Go behind the scenes with hosts Chris Cote and Todd Richards as they chat with the boys on all things skateboarding related along with their up-and-coming appearance in Dew Tour’s Unboxed video series presented by TikTok. Lastly, we’ll be capping things off with an update from Transworld Skateboarding editor Blair Alley.

We've got a crew of three more skaters in the booth for this week's Dew Tour Live episode. Todd and Chris welcome Micky Papa, star of our latest series in collaboration with TikTok, called Unboxed, plus Zander Gabriel and Jamie Foy make an appearance, as well. To kick things off, Blair Alley from TWSKATE joins the crew to give the latest updates in skate news. Micky recounts his reaction to the truck showing up full of features, the cops showing up, and everything in between.  Zander chimes in on moving to LA and checks in with the crew as well. This week we bring in special guest host Vanessa Torres to welcome skateboarders Alexis Sablone and Bryce Wettstein to episode eleven. The ladies catch up and cover the current state of affairs in skateboarding, career highlights, how they've been utilizing their downtime from contests, making art, and much more. Kelvin Hoefler and Ivan Monteiro join us for the tenth episode of Dew Tour Live! We kick things off with Ivan as he fills us in on how he’s been spending his time lately, graphic design and his new clothing company, growing up skating in Brazil, his friendship with Felipe Gustavo, and much more. We also check in with the TWSKATE editors, then followed up with Kelvin Hoefler. We grill him on building his own private park, how he discovered skating, his influences, battling tricks, and plenty of other topics. We've got a lot of guests on this week's episode.  Chris Pastras takes on hosting duties, first checking in with Maurio McCoy and Samarria Brevard to get some insight on their skate influences, how they started skating, what sort of life lessons skating has given them, how they've been dealing with the pandemic, and much more. Next up we're joined by Zion Wright and Dashawn Jordan. They talk how they first got into skating, their local parks, getting accepted into the skate scene, living in LA, skateboarding's influence on culture, and a lot more. Kareem Campbell then joins the crew and catches up with Zion and Dashawn to talk how they've been interacting with the current protests, Muska's declining his skateboarding hall of fame nomination, and Kareem's influence on skateboarding, as well as his own influences. Last, but definitely not least, Ray Barbee joins Kareem to round out this episode with some incredible conversation between a couple of skate legends. We also dial up Stale Sandbech all the way from Norway to talk Dew Tour highlights, winning the team challenge for both Rome and Oakley, and how he's been spending his down time. Stan Leveille from Snowboarder Mag checks in from t Mt. Hood to give us an update straight from the glacier, and to round things out, and we meet the Affinity Snowboards crew to get a look at their factory in Colorado, as well as their proprietary board technology, and get the scoop on what it takes to start a brand. This week on Dew Tour Live we're starting things off with a check-in with Felipe Gustavo while he spends time in Brazil during quarantine, how he's rehabbing a nagging injury, staying off the board and getting healthy after contest season, his relationship with his Dad and the skate box that they built, his at-home museum that holds all his boards and trophies, and much more. Torey Pudwill then dials into the call, chats with Felipe a bit, and we grill him on how his priorities have shifted during COVID, stacking clips, starting his own brand, and take some viewer questions as well.
