Episode 4: Forgiving by Listening - How Ladda Healed the Relationship with her Brother by Seeing Beyond his Aggressiveness

Episode 4: Forgiving by Listening - How Ladda Healed the Relationship with her Brother by Seeing Beyond his Aggressiveness

This story is about how active listening and understanding that even the "bad" or "unfair" behaviors can come from a place of love and care, can make people and their actions easier to forgive.

Ladda's brother became the primary caregiver of his 9 siblings after the death of their parents. His strict, aggressive and seemingly unfair style led to frequent fights between them and to Ladda's anger, frustration and resentment.

And then came the wake-up call. When her brother had a heart attack, she understood that she has to do something to save their relationship, because you never know when you can lose an important person in your life.

Listen to this heartwarming episode with a kind human being and learn what she did in order to forgive her brother and be able to enjoy their last 3 years together after the heart attack, when he eventually died.

You'll be inspired to ask yourself: If I would die tomorrow, how would I want my relationship to be? Ladda shows you how to turn your answer into reality.

Episode 3: Workplace Spirituality and Well-being: How Having a Schizoaffective Mom Led Vanessa to Want to Transform Organizations

Episode 3: Workplace Spirituality and Well-being: How Having a Schizoaffective Mom Led Vanessa to Want to Transform Organizations

This is a beautiful story about how human connection, acceptance and non-judgement have the power to save relationships, improve well-being and create stronger relationships and build a sense of meaning, purpose and fulfillment at work.

Vanessa's mom suffered from a combination between schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. After feeling resentment and anger for a long period of time, Vanessa had a realization: her mom couldn't control her behavior and all she needed was acceptance, empathy and compassion, which changed her view of the world and her relationship with her mom.

Based on a desire to create healthy and joyful work environments, strengthen leadership practices, and address people's mental and emotional suffering (influenced by her upbringing) she conducted a study to see how workplace spirituality might impact well-being at work.

Dear friends, listen to this podcast to hear first hand how organizations need to change their approach to health through workplace spirituality, from a wonderful friend of mine: Vanessa, whom I call Miss Butterfly :), a warm, kind, caring and super wise human being.
