Welcome to our very first episode! As we were still setting up our recording session, another magical conversation unfolded, one too good not to share. Listen in as two sista-farmers wrestle with the realities of our "seed addiction" and attempt to hold each other accountable to grow responsibly. Once it's clear that "growers are gonna to grow", we settle in to talk about what we're working on, all that 2021 has before us and the ways we can all show up as Farm Virgins.

Diary of a Farm Virgin is a bi-weekly-published podcast community centering around a Black family and their peri-urban farming journey, as they relearn their connection to the land — and one another — in the “Now South.” Keisha Cameron of High Hog Farm, and frequent co-host Whitney Jaye of Semente Farm explore the intersections of Black and Indigenous food history and heritage, agrarian arts and lifeways, all while cultivating food, fiber, culture and community.
