Dirty Kurt's Dugout, hosted by Kurt Bevacqua: Season 2, Episode 6

Gene Richards, former San Diego outfielder and first baseman, hit .290, with a .357 on-base percentage and 247 stolen bases in his career. And he still ranks high in many Padres' career statistics. Yet his former teammate Kurt Bevacqua, host of Dirty Kurt's Dugout, says Gene's name doesn't come up in conversation about the team's past as much as it should. Gene takes a seat on the pine to reflect on his 1977-1984 big-league career and to talk about his current work with young players in Reno, Nevada.

Then, KB is joined by renowned fantasy-baseball analyst Tim McLeod of Prospect361.com. After being on Episode 6 of Season 1, Tim returns to Dirty Kurt's Dugout to provide some tips on who to avoid (a former AL MVP?!) and who to nab (perhaps a young Padre?) in your upcoming drafts.

Dirty Kurt's Duguout, hosted by Kurt Bevacqua (Episode 15)

In the latest episode of Dirty Kurt's Dugout, host Kurt Bevacqua interviews filmmaker Renee James of Shoeless Joe Productions and former slugger Gorman Thomas, who played with Kurt in Milwaukee.

For a decade, Renee has been working on a movie about Shoeless Joe Jackson's entire life - not just the infamous and perhaps wrongly understood Black Sox scandal of 1919 - but also his impoverished upbringing and his amazing baseball career.

"I firmly believe Joe got a raw deal, and his story deserves to be told," she tells Kurt. "I hope we do it justice. "

Gorman starred for Milwaukee's 1982 World Series team, but he's more excited to talk about the 2018 Brewers. He thinks they're on their way to a World Series of their own.

"I'm pretty well sure we're going to get by the Dodgers," Gorman tells Kurt, referencing the National League Championship Series that starts Friday at Miller Field before moving to Los Angeles.

He also tells Kurt that leading MVP candidate Christian Yelich has athleticism and skills that remind him of Hall of Famer Robin Yount, who played with both Gorman and Kurt.
