It's the first results show of 2023. An opportunity to look at whats going on in all 7 divisions of disability cricket. Also a brief look at the player statistics so far.

Quick update of what's going on in the 7 national disability leagues

Joel Harris, Lancashire and England deaf cricketer joins me to talk about his time playing deaf cricket for England and touring Dubai, South Africa and the Netherlands. Joel represented the Pirates in the inaugural Disability cricket league.

Damien Runner Bean Halford joins me to chat about his experience of playing disability cricket since the age of 7. He is now 35. Damien's brother Robert also plays disability cricket and so did his father Ian.

Damian plays for Shropshire only disability champion club St Georges.

Its episode 39 and i'm joined by Hampshire and DPL coach Nick Wheeler.

I had the pleasure of meeting John a few times, been officiated by him and played in 2 of his special games.

Tom Law plays disability cricket. But he doesn't play in the National County Championships. Tom plays for Northants which play PAN disability cricket. They mainly play friendlies against other counties.

Another visit to Dorset Disability County Cricket to interview Sam Marks. He opens the batting for the disability section and opens the bowling for his Saturday league team Swanage CC. 

Cricket is in the family. His father is the matchday coach, his mother is the treasurer and his younger brother also plays for the disability section.

A brief look at the results of todays games played up and down the country

2 for the price of 1. Today im joined by Patrick Ward and Bradley Donovan who talk about their time at Essex,

Both are Community engagement managers. Due to wifi problems Bradley talks in depth about the Super1's programme, His disability champion club Haroldwood CC and he shares his personal cricket stories and heros.
