Disability@theTable: Introductory episode. Mark Webb and Sudha Singh place disability at the heart of our diversity agenda.

We are absolutely thrilled to launch the first ever episode of Disability@thetable podcast with Mark Webb as the host. It is the first of the initiatives to get off the ground of the newly branded PRCA Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council. This episode is a conversation with Mark Webb, who leads the disability workstream, about his journey as a comms professional; living with MS; inclusive employers; disability representation in the PR industry; what we hope to achieve by launching Disability@thetable (other than putting it right at the centre of all conversation on inclusion) etc.

We deliberated at some length about how best to use our resources for the best possible outcome. Disability@thetable is an PRCA EIAC platform to showcase role models, discuss challenges in the workplace, share best practice and give people with different abilities an opportunities to share their stories. The long term ambition is to integrate disability into the diversity agenda and short term we would like to invite speakers/allies and sponsors to join us in this journey.
