Andréa Seiger is the author of “111 Places in Washington That You Must Not Miss,” an off-the track guidebook for adventuresome visitors, and locals who wish to find new ways to enjoy their own city. She has been in the tourism and meetings industry for 35 years and has had many uniquely DC opportunities.
She is a road tripping junkie who loves outdoorsy adventures, markets and craft shows anywhere; hidden entryways to mysterious interiors; exploring every place she goes and shopping the local color.
Andréa is a total contrarian to the concept that “one never plays tourist in one’s own city.” She is spoiled by the fact that most DC museums are free and all are full of wonder. She knows most of DC by landmarks and loves to explore the nooks and crannies of her hometown. She keeps a list of places yet to visit and things yet to do in the city, as there are always spots and events to explore that one might not yet know.

Daniel Warren Hill is an American Musician, Media Developer, and Entrepreneur. He is best known as the frontman for Washington DC area Alternative Rock band YellowTieGuy; owner of music news and entertainment outlet Alchemical Records; and co-founder of the diverse and inclusive musician empowerment organization, Capitol Groove Collective. Daniel’s life-long vision has been to set an example of how to achieve creative, financial, and spiritual success by tapping into the value of your own creative outlets and artistic endeavors. His book About DEV: 3 Keys For Success In Your Creative Career.
Much of the world considers art to be from the heart, and business to form in the brain. These seemingly disparate worlds create friction for the creative individual hoping to generate income from their artistic endeavors. In the forthcoming book by Daniel Warren Hill, DEV: 3 Keys For Success In Your Creative Career guides readers on the journey of identifying their purpose and developing plans & processes to help them achieve their individual success through the principles of discipline, enthusiasm, and vulnerability (or DEV). Regardless of your individual artistic endeavor, this book will provide you with a foundation to focus on what's really important to you: your happiness, health, and well being; establishing and developing lasting relationships; and to have the opportunity to spend more time doing what you love with measurable growth & results. Whether you take your creative career part-time or full-time, DEV: 3 Keys For Success In Your Creative Career (available Fall 2021) provides a template for achieving your own work-life-play balance through Hill's personally relatable experiences as a parent, musician, and entrepreneur with a diverse range of artistic and business interests

What is Scary Fun & Better than Pumpkin Spice Coffee? DC Nightly Spirits with Katie
Nightly Spirits is a ghost tour that combines supporting local businesses, fun, drinks, and ghost stories. Katie Kirkpatrick is proud to call herself a DC resident since 2002. She moved from California to the Capital after college for graduate school, and then worked in government for many years. However, history and ghost stories were always a passion, and so she joined Nightly Spirits in 2018 after taking a few of their tours. After all, what could be better than walking around and recounting ghostly tales, dressing like a pirate, and visiting some of the area's best bars? She is now a full time tour guide, and the lead guide for Nightly Spirits DMV.
