This week Aja tells the case on behalf a Beverly Jackson, a single mother living Florida who goes missing and is found days later dead in the trunk of her car with no visible sign of how she died.

In 1980s Japan, high schooler Junko Furuta was kidnapped and held prisoner for 40 days. The brutality of her murder shocked the Japanese public, but gained little attention overseas. 

This week Aja tells Devon the case of the Charleston Race Massacre. June 17th, 2015 Dylann Roof walked into the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and murdered 9 innocent people attending a bible study.

In 1980, Sister Margaret Ann Pahl was brutally murdered in Toledo, Ohio. Her case remained unsolved for nearly 23 years, until shocking new evidence gave the case a sinister new angle. 

In the season 4 premiere, Aja and Devon discuss the Tulsa Race Massacre and context in which the worst case of racial violence in American history came to be.

In this week's episode, Aja discusses the death of Deborah Danner, a 66-year-old black woman who was shot by police while she was suffering from a mental health crisis. 

In 1979, 12 women were murdered in a string of killings in the small neighborhood of Roxbury in Boston. Aja and Devon discuss why so many women were targeted in such a small town. 

In this week's episode, Devon discusses the case of Joan Little, who faced the death penalty for killing her jailor after he sexually assaulted her, and the cultural impact of the 1975 trial. 

This week Aja tells the case of a pregnant mother of a toddler who goes missing in Florida.

In 2009, Mitrice Lavon Richardson disappeared after being wrongfully arrested during a mental health episode and released from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department with no ride, no phone, and no way to get home. Her case remains one of the cornerstones for the fight against police brutality in Los Angeles.
