Episode 1 of eduCATE: Caring Activist Teachers for Equity provides an overview of the edTPA (education teacher performance assessment), which is a required cumulative portfolio assessed through Pearson and required in most states for prospective teacher candidates to obtain licensing. This episode is intended to demystify the edTPA assessment for new teacher candidates.
