In this episode, Doktor Snake lays down his eight tenets for drawing money to you. At the end of each segment, he asks you questions and gives you a "takeaway" action you can do. Among other things, Doc advises that you treat the getting of money like a game, and see each pound and dollar you get as a "freedom ticket" that buys you free time to do what you like with. He also suggests you "become God" and adopt the maxim "I Am God" - along with advising that you adopt laser focus and burning desire in your quest for filthy lucre. Finally, he recommends you access the "power within" - your subconscious mind - to help you attract money and abundance in your life.
In this episode, I ask you a question. And that is: Who are you? You might say your name. Or say your personality sums up who you are. Or you might contend that your thoughts make you what you are. I say it is none of these things. And add that your thoughts most definitely aren't "you". I then suggest you learn to not think - to stop your internal dialogue. And then ask yourself who or what is there when you don't think. Is there something beyond your personality and thinking processes? This is what I set out to find out in this podcast.
In this episode I talk about the benefits - and indeed virtues - of being THOUGHTLESS. By that I mean stopping your internal dialogue, or self talk. Why is it a good thing? Because your thoughts literally shape and direct your life. Letting thoughts run riot, without control, means you aren't at the helm in your life. You aren't directing the flow.
Thus stopping your thoughts is the first step towards shaping your life the way you want it to be.
After outlining the benefits of stopping your thoughts, I outline a method, involving your senses, which makes it easy to stop self talk - and has the side benefits of making you very relaxed and reducing stress and anxiety.
It's a method you can use anywhere, from walking down the street or riding the subway - or in the boardroom.
