This is my first year to have a grown-up adult working daughter, so I’m happy to introduce for our Mother’s Day special, my daughter Caitlin Carlson. She will actually not walk the stage at Seattle Pacific University until June but she finished in December and had a job waiting for her in January. Caitlin is going to talk to us about her expectations going into full-time work, some of the surprises and whether we ruined her or not growing up with two working parents.
I was blown away to find out that this amazing author, pastor, teacher TD Jakes got the same download on the wine metaphor that God gave me a year ago. So this week I’m going to read a bit and tell a few stories. You might see a little bit of your life in this picture and I hope you are filled with courage about your own crushing.
Sandy Lamb with Altitude Business Coaching is certified in Focal Point, but the reason we connected is her desire to see women thrive. We met at a consultant's roundtable and I invited her to my Lady Boss Breakfast because she and I resonate in every way on how women can be boss. Find her on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/bizcoachsandy/
Kami and I really hit it off when we met at a leadership Pike’s Peak event. Both of us spent most of our lives in corporate America before we started coaching women and we both found our sweet spot in this place where we help others lean into what they do best. Mine involves yoga. Kami’s involves horses.
Today’s guest is Julia Stewart, Emotional Freedom Coach and founder of BeaYOUtiful. if you have any mental attitudes that keep you stuck or keep you believing small things about your possibilities then you need to listen to this podcast and maybe give her a call. Natalie is building a better world one life at a time, steering her clients toward greater things. That's the name of her business and the theme of her life. Natalie is leading a workshop on developing confidence at the 360º Life Strategies wine and yoga retreat this weekend. In this podcast she talks about why so many women are lacking in confidence and why it's important this is an art we invest in.
Tammy Maltby joins us again with her friend Erika Van der Werwe to tell us about their Start Simply event benefiting Mary’s Home on April 5. You don’t want to miss this podcast and you don’t want to miss this event. Listen in for details.
Meredith is a career savant. She has created what I like to call a career mapping process that helps women who are saying, "How the bleep did I get here?" You can find her on howthebleep.com and right here on today's podcast.
Landi Spearman teaches executive women to shift. She has an amazing range of experience that helps her to speak the language of just about any industry. On top of that she’s a straight shooter and will tell you what she sees. Landi is invaluable in my life and I’m so happy to share this glimpse of her with you.
My guest today is Debbie Balch, the CEO of Elevated Insights, a market research company in Colorado Springs helping clients across the country understand their customer better.
The perspective she brings today as a female CEO, a wife, a mom, and a woman with her own interests exhibits the stages in life that evolve with work and family. Maybe that has inspired how she’s created a work environment that acknowledges that her employees have a life too.
Yvette is the kind of gal who makes the person in front her feel like the only person in the world. She makes dreams come true for women every day and also shares her story on how to make teams work. Get ready to be restored.
Beth started her career as a critical care nurse, working in a mash unit in South Korea. She talks about the transitions as a working mom and what she’s doing now, taking care of peoples health from a different point of view.
For Kimberly Alexander, an accomplished entrepreneur, the writing was on the sidewalk. Really, the driveway. She talks about the busy life of the traveling corporate woman and the day she decided to leave corporate life to start her own business. Today, she's an example to all women on how you truly can integrate life and work into a beautiful tapestry.
I had the pleasure of talking with Kimberly after an eWomen Network meeting in Denver, Colorado, drinking a divine Colombia Valley Syrah, which you can find in my Wine Palace at 360º Life Strategies on Pinterest. Now, join us in the conversation…
Stacy Pederson is the funniest motivational speaker I've ever heard. Like so many others with the same gift, her humor comes from a life of deep pain and chronic illness. She's chosen to take the high road and helps professionals Discover How Humor, Grit, and Happiness Can Revitalize Your Organization.
If things haven’t quite gotten your way this year, this list might help you figure out what course corrections you might need. It’s capped off with a simple plan for success that I hope makes 2019 your best year yet.
I'm Donna Carlson, a Life Strategy Coach who often opens a bottle of wine early on Wednesdays as a celebration. I mean, somewhere it's 5 o'clock. Our episodes feature some amazing women, and I don't throw that term around. I've been collecting cool chicks in my portfolio for over 29 years…or whatever is the current date minus 1989, which is when I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. Tell you friends about this podcast, which launches officially in January 2019. Until then, I've got your back. I'll get you through the holidays. Just hang with me, ladies.
