Episode 6: Breaks the format and introduces new characters as we get to see the behind the scenes filming of My Roanoke Nightmare. An unethical TV producer gets the original Miller family, as well as their reenactment counterparts together in the house during the Blood Moon. What could go wrong?
Cat is catching up on CASTLE ROCK and loving it. Aurora can’t stop talking about PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN.

Episode 3: We meet some wacky new characters including some gray children and Cricket, the pushy psychic who claims he knows where Lee's daughter Flora is. We learn the backstory behind Kathy "The Butcher" Bates' character. Shelby sees Matt engaging in some questionably activity in the forest.
Episode 4: Dr. Elias to the rescue! Kind of...The gang learns about the Blood Moon Curse of the land and the fate that befell the former inhabitants. Matt finds himself drawn to Lady Gaga, the mysterious immortal witch. Priscilla the ghost girl proves to be the real MVP.

AHS ROANOKE: Season 6, Part 1
We dive head first into the outdoor wooden hot tub that is Roanoke and recap episodes 1 & 2. Cat gives some background on how the season was promoted and received and Aurora talks a little bit about the history of the Roanoke colony.

AHS ASYLUM: Season 2, Part 7
Episode 13: The season finale. Lana is being interviewed in present day and looking back on what happened to the gang after Briarcliff. Jude was taken in by Kit where she lived the rest of her days in relative comfort. Except she was maybe given cancer by Kit’s alien kids? Speaking of aliens, we get no resolution on that front. Kit gets cancer in his 40s and disappears without a trace.
Johnny infiltrates Lana’s team to confront her after the interview. But she’s been briefed by the police and she’s ready for him. He complains like a pathetic baby and she pacifies him before shooting him dead.
We close this season with Cat’s superb and shocking research into the Willowbrook State School, the real life mental institution that inspired Briarclif. The true history is worse than anything Ryan Murphy could have dreamt up.
We end with some loose TV talk. Rory is still working her way through the 1980s miniseries North and South and Cat is revisiting some old favorites like Battlestar Galactica and Buffy.

AHS ASYLUM: Season 2, Part 6
Episode 11: We get more unnecessary background on Bloodyface 2.0 aka Johnny’s Mommy Issues. Kit and Grace return home with their new baby but Alma is already there and she’s got a baby of her own! Lana and Threadson have one final showdown. She can’t go through with her abortion and gives birth to a little Bloodyface at the end of the episode. Babies everywhere!
Episode 12: Opens with Kit covered in blood. Turns out he’s been living in polygamist bliss with Alma and Grace and raising the kids together...what could go wrong? Back at Briarcliff, the Catholic church has sold it to the state and inmates from the prison facility are rolling in. Jude meets a Shacath dead ringer and falls into a K hole for 2.5 years. Lana becomes a famous author by dramatizing her experience with Bloody Face and Kit confronts her for selling out. Johnny is coming for you, Lana.
Cat and Aurora express their love for Nicolas Cage and discuss polygamy and decide that being sister wives doesn’t sound half bad.

AHS ASYLUM: Season 2, Part 5
We cover Asylum Episodes 9 & 10 and Cat does a deep dive on Jeannine Deckers the singer/ songwriter of “Dominique”, the song playing on a loop in Briarcliff’s common room.
Lana is pregnant after being raped by Thredson and the baby grows up to be Bloodyface 2.0. Evil Eunice, Arden and a reformed Leigh team up to turn the Monsignor against Jude. Arden is suddenly onboard with the whole alien thing and needs Kit to go Flatliners to draw them out. Leigh turns out to be not reformed and crucifies the Monsignor. Jude and Lana start a beautiful friendship.
Grace is back from the dead, pregnant and about to pop. Pepper tells Arden that she’s been charged with protecting Grace (by the aliens, duh). Thredson drops by the rec room for a chat with Lana and Kit. Jude gets brain zapped. Shacath has to do literally everything and tells the Monsignor that Eunice is evil and he needs to exorcise her STAT. He tries to do that but ends up...having sex with her? Arden sees their tryst and throws a tantrum by killing his zombies. The Monsignor pushes Eunice off the balcony and Arden insists she be cremated so he can lay with her as she goes into the furnace.

AHS ASYLUM: Season 2, Part 4
We cover Asylum Episodes 7 & 8. We are introduced to Shakath, the angel of death who says “hey girl, you ready to die or what?” to literally everyone. Grace finally takes her up on her offer. Kit pulls a Ted Bundy and jumps out of a window. Lana escapes from Thredson but is done in by toxic masculinity.
CHRISTMAS EPISODE! A murderous Santa is thrown into this season because why not. Arden gives Eunice the old earring test to prove whether or not she’s a demon, She fails. But he loves her anyway! Lana and Kit let Thredson live because they’re going to prove he’s Bloodyface (what could go wrong?)
Aurora talks about adventures in kitten fostering while living in a double lockdown. Cat expresses her disdain for people who say “Pari” instead of “Paris”.

AHS ASYLUM: Season 2, Part 3
We talk about AHS Asylum Episodes 5 & 6. Jude hires a death camp survivor PI to prove Arden is a Nazi. It turns out Anne Frank is just some crazy housewife suffering PPD. (OR IS SHE??) She gets lobotomized for having emotions. Thredson bust Lana out of Briarcliff but she finds his taste in home decor...disconcerting.
Demon Eunice takes a little girl with a penchant for stabbing under her wing. The Monsignor finally sees what Arden has been working on in his lab and is horrified. Arden blackmails him into sending Jude to Pittsburg, but before she leaves she proves he was an SS officer. Lana convinces Thredson she's his mommy and some gross stuff happens. In present day, Bloodyface 2 has captured Jenna Dewan and Channing isn't coming to her rescue.
We close with some TV talk about the Expanse and Ju-on: Origins. Aurora and Cat agree that Ed Gein was a weirdo but got kind of a bad rap.
