Dr. Lauren Baker, a Physical Therapist and Founder of Girl Squad Fit, believes that what is stopping us from being a healthier society is not knowing what to do but instead releasing the resistance surrounding the things we want to do, but feel like we can't.

Using strategies she's developed over the past 7 years as a Physical Therapist and 5 years on her own fitness journey including EFT/Tapping, habit formation, and mindset shifts; she is determined to help you decrease your resistance to fitness, so that you too, can master your (home) fitness routine with less struggle and more ease.

"Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting," by Lisa Genova is an amazing book that gives us insight into Alzheimer’s, how it’s formed, what it looks like, and what we can do to combat it or decrease our risks.

By understanding Alzheimer’s, we can make moves like having a fitness routine and getting high-quality sleep to decrease our risk for Alzheimer's.  There is so much more to this wonderful book, that I highly recommend reading it for yourself & gifting it to a family member if they're worried about memory loss (like forgetting the name of an actor in a random movie no one actually cares about).

"Remember: The Science of Memory and the Art of Forgetting," by Lisa Genova is an amazing book that gives us insight into how memory and understanding it better can help us improve all aspects of our lives including our ability to master our home workouts.  By understanding prospective memory and using external cues as a strategy to improve our overall memory, we can improve our likelihood of completing our workouts while making it easier in the process.  There is so much more to this wonderful book, that I highly recommend reading it for yourself & gifting it to a family member if they're worried about memory loss (like forgetting the name of an actor in a random movie no one actually cares about).
