Episode 1: Why Think Outside the Box: The box that traps your learning

Episode 1: Why Think Outside the Box: The box that traps your learning

How much do you remember from that last workshop you attended? How much can you apply from the last university course you took? How much money and time did you invest in those workshops and university courses?

This episode challenges the conventional statement of Think Outside the Box with the not so obvious question - why is there a box at all? Then exploring the box that traps learning within education from universities to professional training companies (forgettable education). It looks at behaviorism as the content that traps what people are consuming and teaching methods as the context that limits the recall and application of many educational activities. Finally, it provides some practical actions for leaders to create their own learning systems and shift organizational culture.

If you know of someone or is that leader who's innovated and broke a box, please email us at WTCU@unforgettable.education so that we can share the successes together and help others see a new possibility. Also check out the many articles at Transcontinental University that breaks many boxes.
