The Stories that Wrote Me

The Stories that Wrote Me

By Dré Pontbriand
Since the beginning of time, stories have connected us, imparted us with wisdom, and inspired us to live more beautifully. I share mine with you now with the intention to remind you that you are the writer, the narrator, and the main character of your story, if you choose to be…Also, to pass on some of the potent lessons I’ve learned along the way, and perhaps even share some hahas.

A labour of love, a lifetime in the making—the culmination of an adventure-filled 7 year (and counting) international spiritual scavenger hunt, lived by yours truly.

Manifestation
About that time at a festival when I met a prophet who made an interesting proposition and also a compelling speech that would alter my reality for the better.  https://www.patreon.com/drepontbriand . Music by: Nablo Vibes.

Silence
I used to run from silence as I feared what it might reveal. Society has done a great job conditioning us to fixate on external stimuli to avoid being with our innermost thoughts and feelings. For me, like for many Westerners, this constant outside noise drove me toward escapism and addiction, ultimately resulting in an inability to hear my inner truth. Vipassana meditation and learning to cultivate a sacred practice of silence allowed me to quiet my overactive mind, and ultimately brought me back home to myself. This is my journey from chaos to stillness. What would it look like to live a life you don’t desire to escape? https://www.patreon.com/drepontbriand . Music: Nablo Vibes

Prelude
Welcome aboard this wild journey of reclamation. This Podcast is where I’ll be sharing the magical, suboptimal, and “are you fucking kidding me” stories that have composed my life and shaped me into the person I am today. My intention is to remind you that you are the writer, the narrator, and the main character of your story, if you choose to be. Theme music by the wonderful duo, Nablo Vibes.
