Nvidia’s AI ambitions in medicine

Nvidia’s AI ambitions in medicine

Join Dr. Hara Prasad Mishra on "Brain Roast with DrHPM" as he reflects on Nvidia's ambitious plans in healthcare.

For the AI chip leader, the move into health care is an effort that’s been under development for a decade and has significant revenue potential.

Dr HPM discusses the recent announcements by Nvidia regarding deals with Johnson & Johnson for use of generative AI in surgery, and with GE Healthcare to improve medical imaging. The health care developments at  2024 GTC AI conference, — which also included the launch of roughly two dozen new AI-powered, healthcare-focused tools — demonstrate just how important medicine is to Nvidia’s non-tech sector revenue opportunities in the future. Dr HPM is also very optimistic on the role Nvidia is going to play in revolutioninsing healthcare with AI , but at the same time does not want a single player driven market as it will lead to monopoly.

Work life Balance; Ft. Syed Yasir Ali

Work life Balance; Ft. Syed Yasir Ali

Work–life interface is the intersection of work and personal life. There are many aspects of one's personal life that can intersect with work including family, leisure, and health. Work–life interface is bidirectional; for instance, work can interfere with private life, and private life can interfere with work. This interface can be adverse in nature (e.g., work–life conflict) or can be beneficial (e.g., work–life enrichment) in nature. Work–life balance is the equilibrium between personal life and career work.

Reading My own Book "Delhi's Corona fight from a doctor's eye " Introduction.

Reading My own Book "Delhi's Corona fight from a doctor's eye " Introduction.

This is the first introductory episode of my recently published book "Delhi's Corona fight from a doctor's eye ". This is India’s first medical documentary on covid- 19 by a medical physician. In the 25 chapters it tries to cover all facets of the fight against this pandemic. A simple book free from medical jargon and fit for any reader. The book has been reviewed by top doctors and professionals who all echoed the same.

Through the 25 chapters the book takes you on a journey of facts, realities, emotions and most importantly shows you what the real fight was like focused primarily on DELHI. It gives you a slight glimpse of the plight of doctors as I share my personal anecdotes as I experienced the crisis along with my colleagues.

From talking of protective kits to testing, basic requirements of oxygen, beds, medicines to the mental health crisis to research and innovations, vaccinations to all those surprises of the pandemic, everything has been covered and talked about.
The book tries to demystify and bring some clarity to the high level of uncertainty around the pandemic situation. The description from a doctor's perspective in a simple , scientific and interesting manner will help the reader understand the true nature of the disease as Pandemics are undoubtedly inevitable in the future.

This book is dedicated to the CORONA WARRIORS . If you want to read the book yourself here is the link (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0977KHV55/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_VBZ5NAVTPPVKKVW4AEPE). Happy reading.

6 self care tips to deal with this PANDEMIC by doctors.

6 self care tips to deal with this PANDEMIC by doctors.

Well, we’ve all hit the same turbulence, folks, and we all need to take good care of ourselves, our bodies, and our minds. This week, I reached out to my colleagues in the Delhi (GTB)General Hospital Healthy Lifestyle Program to find out. We’re all primary care physicians within the Division of General Internal Medicine who have been urgently redeployed to new and different jobs, such as staffing our makeshift COVID-19 surge clinics, learning new technology to provide much-needed telehealth, and creating serious illness plans with our most at-risk patients. During a period when stress and fear are running high, these six strategies from my colleagues can help. Our team MH INDIA lead by our founder Dr Hara prasad Mishra is committed to provide affordable, premium quality mental health services to the society for their sound, peaceful, disease free mind and soul.we are also committed to improve education of common public about various psychological and psychiatric illness . How to not practice emotional distancing during social distancing, covid19 podcast by Dr HPM

How to not practice emotional distancing during social distancing, covid19 podcast by Dr HPM

I try to remember three things: the differences between being alone and being lonely, the deep ties that bind us, and the connection I feel when practicing kindness or gratitude.Being alone versus being lonely Take a moment to consider these questions: What might time alone offer?  Whom do I deeply care about?  Practice kindness and gratitude Finally, as an added and needed bonus, I recommend this: go outside. Spend time in nature, whether it’s just a walk around the block, hopefully with the sun shining overhead, or out along a path by some trees or a body of water. Enjoy feeling the elements and feeling grounded and present and grateful to be alive. Nature helps. If we all do this together, each in whatever way works best individually — though of course, not together in any sort of crowded way — we will feel more united. What I am offering here is an attitude and a practice, entirely based in reality, steeped in the good practice of medicine and psychiatry, and informed by practices of spirituality. Be good to your precious self. There is no real need for loneliness. You are not alone.
