Tampa Bay QB, Fly Fishing TV Show on the Outdoor Channel and now on Youtube with Mike Pawlaski // Ep. 3

I had the privilege of sitting down in person with Mike learning how his love of fly fishing developed through his pro football career into one of his TV shows, Familiar Waters. He learned to fly fish from a kind stranger as a 9-year-old. Lead the Bears to a 10-2 season at Cal. He played for Tampa Bay. I moved into the CFL and later arena football where he won a championship. He guided many of the rivers in Norcal in the off-season. After football, he started multiple TV shows including Familiar Waters and Gridiron Outdoors on the Outdoor Channel. Needless to say, his resume is unique and pretty fascinating.

Challenges of fly fishing in the Pacific Northwest // Rosin Fly Fishing ep. 2

Rosin is my friend and fellow fly fishing Youtuber based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He grew his skills fishing the Bow River and was forced to start from scratch relearning the very different waters found near his new home in the West. The challenges include plummeting steelhead populations, hostile diehard locals, and the desire to have a thriving Youtube Channel.

Bob is an elite fly tyer and a killer angler based out of Utah. After fishing most of his life, pandemic he picked up a GoPro during the pandemic to document some of his adventures and his Youtube channel was born.
