The first 12 episodes are based in Dr. Reese's Inner Peace Practice (IPP). Episode 13 - 50 are a combination of guests and short discourses based on topics such as curing anxiety, handling society, preparing for death, and self-realization.
Even though Dr. Reese has guided and inspired thousands of people to reclaim their health through his books, seminars, and programs, it's his own spiritual awakenings, including a chance meeting with a wandering mystic in 2012, that has inspired these relaxing recordings.
In episode # 34, Dr. Reese talks with Mango Wodzak, a 20 plus year fruitarian man who built a 2-acre fruit paradise in Australia. In this conversation, they discuss how Mango lives, how he left the corporate world, and how he respects not just the animals, but the trees! Mango is a great example of someone who has chosen not to live in the typical cycle of society.
In episode # 33, Dr. Reese sits back down with Stefanie, a veteran of academia, to discuss knowledge vs. wisdom. What's the difference between the two and how does it affect a human-beings life? How does it affect our society? Are we being controlled through education?
In Episode # 32, Dr. Reese sits down with his old radio co-worker, Nancy Barrow, a 30 year veteran of radio to discuss how competitive and high-pressure show business is. They dive into the grind of putting on a show, the way it affects the ego, and how it takes something from you. Of course, they also share all sorts of behind the scene stories, including exclusive parties at 50 Cent's Mansion.
In episode # 31, Dr. Reese pays tribute to Ram Das after learning of his passing the night before. Dr. Reese reveals that Ram Das was his role model and goes on to explain how he identified with Ram Das's story and public speaking skills greatly. In episode # 29, Dr. Reese tackles one of this era's great phenomena, the selfy! Along with his guest Phil, they ask honest questions of the matter; are selfy's healthy? Are they attention-seeking? In episode # 28, Dr. Reese talks with Joe Lachance, who recalls his 35-year spiritual journey from AA in his 20's to Yogananda's Ashram in his 50's. After finding what he was searching for, Joe was taken away from it to help his sick mother back home. After ending up in a "spiritual slump" and going through his Mother's death, Joe had to find ways to get back on the path. Joe's story is a reflection of what it's like to find the path, walk the path, fall off the path, and get back on the path. But how do we do it in this programmed world?
