#6: Internet drumming vs. Live drumming (Part 1)

#6: Internet drumming vs. Live drumming (Part 1)

In this episode Nate and Austin catch up after not talking to each other for a couple of weeks and chat about the different aspects of Internet drumming and Live drumming.

Below are a couple of points we touch on and a couple of points we don't get a chance to talk about. In the end we hope this helps you understand both options and see that no matter which one you pick you are going to have to put a lot of work into it.

Pros

  • Internet drumming: work at home, different ways to make money, personalized fan base, you set your own schedule
  • Live Drumming: traveling around the world, Energy of a live crowd, playing music with people

  • Both: you get to play drums, vast opportunities for endorsements/sponsorships, hard work matters

Cons

  • Internet drumming: everything revolves around you, it gets lonely, energy comes from you
  • Live drumming: you HAVE to have gigs to make money, time to do other things can be limited, you don’t have a choice in what music you play

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask through the links below!!!  🥁 🗣

#3: Brayden Tabakian: Create Outside of the box.

In this episode Nate and Austin are joined by their first featured guest on the show, Brayden Tabakian.

Brayden is 17 year old drummer that in just about a year made waves on a new app called Tiktok where he is now over 200k followers.

We cover topics like the switch to Tiktok, content creation, drumming and faith. It was an absolute pleasure to have Brayden on the podcast and we are super excited to see him continue to grow as a person, creator and drummer.

You can find Brayden on TikTok and Instagram on the regular, so hit him up and show some love!

Here are some of the video's Brayden talked about on the episode:
