Well its been another little stretch of no podcasts but we end that today. We have the singer and namesake of AGAPITO the one, the only Jim Agapito. We delve into his growing up and how he got into music. Jim also had a battle with addiction and has over come that and we get into that as well. It was amazing learning about Jim's journey and its not done yet. As well as being a front person of a band he is also an acclaimed filmmaker AND has his very own podcast Recovering Filipino on CBC Radio.

This is a great conversation with one of the owners of Rad GF Records Josh Goldman. I kind of just stumbled on Rad GF Records and went down the rat hole and loved what I heard. They have released some well known veteran punk rock bands like The Queers, Masked Intruder and many others. As well as the veterans they keep releasing kick ass music from other really great bands as well. It was great to learn more about how the label came to be, as well as learning how Josh's own band The Raging Nathans came into existence and what keeps them going.

This is the first of a few episodes where I talk to folks who work behind the scenes in the music industry. Im really excited for y'all to hear these conversations and learn more about what it takes to make the machine go.
