Circumstances May Not Be as They Appear - John 11
In John 11, we meet Lazarus. I can bet that neither Lazarus nor his family anticipated the events leading up to their Jesus encounter. It did not go the way they would have liked it to go; however, with Jesus, He may be working a work that we just can't understand. Our lives, surrendered to Christ, can become a great testimony for the power and works of the Lord. Let Him use you. Surrender. Look for His works in your situation.
Trusting the Eyes of Jesus
You and I remember the past, live in the present, but wonder about the future. Our physical eyes are very limited when it comes to seeing tomorrow but, if we were to try to look through the eyes of Jesus, things will become more clear! Trust in His eyes today and your future will look much brighter!

The prophecy of the coming of Christ set the stage for many "Aren't You Glad God" moments. Give thought to just how often the Lord has kept His promises and provided a way for us all to enjoy the joys of salvation and eternal life. I'm very glad that the Lord passed by and stopped to take me in...
Without It, It's not Good! - I Corinthians 13
Love. We think we love but when compared to the unconditional and unchanging love of God, we still have some work to do! Loving like God should be our ambition in life. This world would be a much better place ...
Profession and Practice - James 2
Ronnie Simpson says that Faith and Works are like Siamese Twins. I will add to that: Siamese Twins that are joined at the heart! There's no way to separate Siamese twins with only one heart without one of them dying. The Bible says faith without works is dead! Our walk must match our talk and visa versa. They are married together and must show forth their relationship in the Christian's life.
From the Beginning - Isaiah 9
Oh how quickly we can let our lives and minds become cluttered with the worries and the issues of his world! It doesn't take long for us to become distracted and lose focus of what's truly important. We have to make an effort to remember what's true and real in our life. To promises of the Lord have to come to the front and rise to the top.
The Church at Ephesus
Churches should be paying close attention to the characteristics of the early church. They should pay attention to what Paul and John have written concerning the churches. The Lord sent messages to be read and understood and followed. Take a look at the Church of Ephesus - it's mentioned in the Book of Acts, 1 and 2 Timothy, Ephesians and Revelation. The message is clear - we can be busy but we better not leave our first love while working - Jesus.
Are You Friends with Jesus or the World?
What a friend we have in Jesus! Friends are precious and needed; but there's a friend that is far closer and than brother or sister you can find! His name is Jesus!!
"Remember" - 2 Peter 1
Memories. We all have them. We all need to remember one thing - God's Word and God's Ways and God's Will.

Most will say, despite the downs and difficulties in life, they have been! Family, Friends, Finances, etc. But what about spiritual blessings? The Bible lays out the spiritual gifts given to Christians and emphasizes their importance to the building of the church and to evangelizing of the lost! Search the Scriptures for the gifts and you'll find you have been blessed with at least one and likely more!
Out of the Shadows and into the Son - Hebrews 8:5
The relationship between the Old and New Testaments in critical to our understanding of God's plan from the beginning. He has been working through a pattern already laid out before the foundation of the world. We must desires to see the plan and adhere to it to the letter in order to see the Works of Christ unfold from the old tabernacle in the wilderness to the cross of Calvary to the imminent return for His church.
