In Episode 12 of the Dynamic Decade, Jeff Bechdel, Managing Director at FTI Consulting, discusses everything hydrogen, from the various ways it is produced, to the multitude of potential uses for the new energy source. We also discuss the government and industry partnerships which are forming to take advantage of the growing resource, and the hurdles still to be overcome on the path to widespread utilization. 

In Episode 11 of the Dynamic Decade, Jason Lanclos, Director of the Louisiana State Energy Office, discusses how Louisiana, traditionally an oil and gas state, is diversifying its energy resources to include hydrogen, solar, biofuels and even offshore wind. We also discuss how these efforts, along with collaboration with other states like Oklahoma and Arkansas, are guaranteeing a bright future for Louisiana’s economy.

In Episode 10 of the Dynamic Decade, Oklahoma Senator Kim David discusses how the state’s vast oil and gas infrastructure has set the stage for Oklahoma to be a leader in the booming hydrogen energy industry. Senator David also discusses the role of the Corporation Commission in regulating Oklahoma’s huge energy industry, which has created some of the lowest utility prices in the nation.

In Episode 9 of the Dynamic Decade, Tim Echols, two-term Commissioner of the Public Service Commission of Georgia, discusses the plummeting costs and economic benefits of solar energy, the reliability it adds to the electric grid, and the bright future for Georgia as a national solar leader. We will also dive into the growth of electric vehicles in the state, and the opportunities and challenges that come with them.

In Episode 8 of the Dynamic Decade, we hear from Brad Carver, an attorney from Georgia, discussing his work in developing solar energy opportunities in the state, and an examination of upcoming changes to the state’s power generation mix which will serve a growing population and economy.

In Episode 7 of the Dynamic Decade, we learn about federal energy subsidies and their role in energy development from Claire Burch, a PhD student from the University of Oklahoma focused on studying how communities interact with and benefit from clean energy development. Claire discusses the history of federal subsidies, the distinction between indirect and direct subsidies, and the hidden costs of energy development which are left out of the spotlight. 

In Episode 6 of the Dynamic Decade, we hear from Rich Lombardi, a political consultant from Nebraska who will discuss the incredible, market-driven growth of renewable energy in the state, the legislative and infrastructure challenges surrounding the expansion, and the immense untapped potential that still remains for the growth of Nebraska's clean energy resources. 

In Episode 5 of the Dynamic Decade, we hear from Destinee Weeks, a landowner from Seiling, Oklahoma with expertise in combining agriculture and landownership with energy development. Destinee, the Development Director at Allegiant Land Services and Consulting, is a ‘landman’ with early roots in oil and gas who has since branched into securing land agreements for renewable energy developers as well.

In Episode 4 of the Dynamic Decade, we speak with Jeff Clark, the President and CEO of the Advanced Power Alliance, a industry trade association created to promote the development of wind, solar and energy storage as resources that can deliver clean, reliable, affordable power for American consumers. Jeff Clark discusses the power outages caused by February's winter storm in Texas, the lasting effects it has had on the state's energy landscape, and how Texas Energy needs to adapt moving forward.
