Write The Good Stories, And The Bad Ones
We're doing a deep dive into writing. I'm defending a writer's desire to make Mary Sues (yes, you heard me right) and to write stuff that can get pretty dark. We also talk about the sexism behind the "lowliness" of certain tropes, the problems with the "suffering artist" stereotype, and how art ties into wellbeing.
Let's Forget Our Responsibilities And Move To France
I have been tired, guys. Very tired (maybe you can tell from the weird turn my voice took in this recording). We're covering burnout, what it is, how we can avoid it, and the societal pressures that can get in the way of doing that. Then we're going to take a nap.
How You Feel About Your (Abusive) Ex
Talking about something a bit more personal today. There's so much to say about the aftermath of abuse, but I'm touching on how strange it feels to reconcile the "bad guy" with the person you used to feel close to. And as always, giving out lots of love and affirmations! Both for myself and, of course, to all of you.

Art, Self Expression, and Putting Yourself Out There
Being vulnerable is one of the hardest parts of life- and also one of the best things you can do. We're talking about being authentic and the artist's dilemma. The desire to share your art versus the hesitation to reveal your raw, uncensored self to the world.
Love You No Matter What?
Let's talk about unconditional love and boundaries. Is unconditional love good or bad (hint: I'm not a fan). What's so appealing about it and how can we bring those things into our relationships?
Didn't See That Coming
This week, I'm talking about life not going as planned and dealing with the uncertainty in your twenties. Along with a couple of ways to deal with the ups and downs. Onward and forward! Life can be crazy but along with the unexpected comes some great potential.
I also added the mini-introduction that I may or may not have missed on the first episode.
Maybeee I'll Forgive You, 2020
As 2020 comes to an end, I'm taking stock of all the ups and downs (and finding some surprising ups). It turns out that looking back at the year wasn't a bad idea.
