Katya Echazarreta was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico until the age of 7, after which her family moved to California, USA. She had a difficult first few years, having to learn English while starting elementary school. Graduated from UCLA Katya Echazarreta is the first Mexican-born woman and one of the youngest women to fly to space, thanks to the non-profit Space for Humanity. She was selected from over 7,000 candidates from over 120 countries. Join us as we get to know more of her roots, her inspirations and what she’s doing to “echarle ganas.” Now traveling with McDonald’s to inspire young Latinos in pursuit of stem careers and advocating for the McDonald’s Hacer Scholarship.

Moris Galvez was born in El Salvador and moved to Long Beach, California when he was 10 years old. He lived in California ever since. He attended college at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. While working towards his Master's in Computer Engineering, he was offered a full-time position at IBM as a software developer. He worked hard and began looking for ways to grow the wealth that he started to accumulate. In 2017, he started investing in stocks and cryptocurrencies, which allowed him to invest in real estate in 2021 and start his own business. He created Finance Predator to share what he has learned about investing with others who, like him, are underprivileged youth with a hunger to succeed. With the right mindset and information, we can accomplish big things.

Abby is the owner and head trainer at No Bones About It Pet Care. With over eight years of experience as a dog behaviorist and canine-training, including relationship-building, socialization through pack walks, and off-leash play. Equipped with strong intuition, clear communication, and professional knowledge, she have experience dealing with a spectrum of dog temperaments, energy-levels, breeds, and ages. Her specialties include training puppies and what we in the industry call “leash-reactive” and/or fearful dogs. She consider herself a “forever student” in the field of dog behavior and psychology, attending workshops and trainings throughout the year held by preeminent leaders in this sector. Angelica Vale is the “Latina Queen of Stage Comedy” and regarded as the Tina Fey and Carole Burnett of Spanish language entertainment. Vale is the most recognized Mexican comedic actress and a true triple threat on a live stage.  She's a critically acclaimed live-theatre performer with an extensive career in film, television, radio and music that spans more than four very active decades.  Her acting career begun as an infant tugging at the skirt of her legendary mother while live on stage.  Vale is synonymous with live musical stage comedy and one of the most recognizable performers with over 500 live theatre productions and thousands of hours on stage. In 2017, Vale was the principal voice character (Mama Imelda) on the Spanish language version of the Disney animated Oscar winning hit, “Coco." Jose Richard Aviles is a multimedia artist, Urban Planner, and Social Worker based out of Los Angeles. As a former organizer with the Bus Riders Union and current Bus Rider, Aviles is interested in the stories of the countless people that still rely on public transportation. As an artist, Aviles has toured their evening length work, Noche con Nalgona-- a night of poetry, dance, and comedy--across the country and internationally in Mexico and Germany. As an urban planner, Aviles has been a keynote speaker at Hindsight Conference (2021) and presented at Hindsight Conference (2020) and the Unurbanist Assembly (2021). Aviles is also a lecturer at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs where they teach a course called Community Organizing for Urban Planners and also is a member of APA's Foresight Committee.

Day of the Dead, or Dia de Muertos in Spanish, is a holiday that originated thousands of years ago in Mexico. This past week I was in Chicago and had the opportunity to connect with many amazing people, one of them being this guys. Lets go ahead and meet Danny Romero, he forms part of the blind community and has a passion for Radio. He is Puerto Rican and Colombian and has the voice of a seasoned radio hosts! It was a pleasure getting to know him! 

Probably one of the best memories during Covid lock down was being creative with Stephanie. I don't know where we got the idea of an International Quarantine Pub Crawl but we did it! Find out what we did and what countries we visited. 

Comedian Jesus Sepulveda with new special on HBO Comedy Special: MR. ROUGHLIFE to release as part of their Entre Nos series on August 5th. The new special talks a lot about the dynamic relationships between first and second generation latinx sons, their families, and their fathers, in addition to the acceptance and sometimes need for therapy to deal with all our traumas. Jesus has had a prolific career performing across the country and producing original content for his social media channels. He was featured on Chingo Blings "They Can't Deport us All"(Netflix) and also was featured in the first compilation of HBO Latinos' "Entre Nos" in 2017.  In 2015 he was a top finalist on the NBC Diversity Showcase.
