In this episode we dive into conversation with brothers Charlie and Angus Buchanan-Smith, founders of The Free Company, an organic and no-dig farm. Their regenerative and progressive agricultural methods provide fresh vegetable and no-waste pig boxes through a subscription service to customers and top chefs and restaurants in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. At the farm Charlie and Angus also run a rural restaurant that offers a supper club series for seven months of the year in a pay what you think it’s worth system. The menu celebrates Scottish Seasonal food and each of the 6 plates served offer a combination of delicious and fresh organic ingredients straight from farm to table.

In this episode we dive into conversation with Mike Horn, one of the world’s greatest modern day explorers. Mike has undertaken exceptional feats of endurance, determination and courage. He’s circumnavigated the world twice (once on the Equator and once on the Arctic Circle--both alone and without motorized vehicles); he’s crossed South America and the entire length of the Amazon river on a hydrospeed, he made a crossing to the North Pole in winter and complete darkness; he’s sailed around the planet for four years on his sailboat Pangaea educating young people about the environment; and he’s scaled four of the world’s 8,000m+ mountains.
